  1. Wtf is Jaguar doing?

IDK, maybe go back to the basics. Offer a 6 or 12 cylinder manual transmission sport/touring enclosed coupe or drop top car with a real wood dash embracing some retro Smiths gauges. Have an exhaust that goes from purr to roar. Old is new again. Not here for quickest 0-60, just that traditional...
  2. Inside stock resonator

I just wonder why Ford didn’t engineer that in, e.g. cost/time vs. regulation. Also, why not either put in H or X downstream of the resonator or replace with a resonated crossover. I love the sound of my exhaust (Roush axle back) and don’t want any additional potentially obnoxious noise.
  3. Inside stock resonator

30 seconds into this video it shows the inside of a stock S650 GT V8 resonator. I didn’t realize it’s basically 2 straight pipes without an equalizing crossover like H or X pipe. The screen capture shows one side. Makes me wonder why Ford wouldn’t include at least an internal H. Maybe...
  4. Dark Horse has a Gen 3 Coyote?

The one part that I really wonder about is the deconstructed Livernois F150 Gen 4 head has a multi-layer design where the upper portion holds the cam vs. the single layer in the AED version from the DH.
  5. Strut Tower Brace 2024 Base GT

No difference in handling with mine, base GT though. My 2022 Ecoboost felt more planted and nimble.
  6. Missing nuts on top of strut

Which begs the question, is there any functional reason to retain the engine cover or is it for 'beauty" only?
  7. A Few Questions

Regarding your oil, what's in the owners manual for oil spec in Canada? In the US it's WSS-M2C961-A1 for 5w-30 semi- or full-synthetic and WSS-M2C963-A1 for 0w-30 in cold climates. It's an SN Plus/SP rated oil.
  8. S650 Mustang OTA History Thread

From another platform, someone posted this update (it's not mine, I'm still on 6.3.2) where looks like the numbering went from 6.x to 10.x.
  9. Almost no love for the Ecoboost

For what it's worth, I loved my 2022 EcoBoost. It had the rare 6 speed manual. When I bought it almost 2 years ago, it was special ordered during Covid and when it was delivered the person who ordered it did not want it. So I paid a bit over sticker as it was the only one in Phoenix AZ area at...
  10. Video of Gen 4 Coyote Differences (mostly F150, some references to Mustang)

It was a problem back when I had my 1998 Taurus SHO. There were numerous articles and even a TSB posted about it on v8sho.com.
  11. Video of Gen 4 Coyote Differences (mostly F150, some references to Mustang)

MAF sensors are why I stopped using oiled filters (like K&N) as contamination from the oil can cause a lean condition. I've been reluctant to use them (oiled filters) ever since.
  12. Video of Gen 4 Coyote Differences (mostly F150, some references to Mustang)

Good to see one torn down, hope they provide an update incorporating Mustang specific Gen 4 changes.
  13. Chipped Windshield

Here in AZ, because of all the granite rock landscaping (too hot/dry for grass), we have a lot of glass impacts. It's very common to add $0.00 windshield deductible option on Auto Insurance Comprehensive coverage.
  14. Looking at 2024 Mustang GT premium

if you’re financing, the cut rate APR deals until 9/30 save thousands over current interest rates as well.
  15. Incentive Assistance

Last I checked you must take new retail delivery from dealer stock by 2024-09-30 for the cut rate financing (Program #20126). It originally ended before it was extended past July 8th, so it's been available for a while. They also had a trade in bonus of $750 if you're trading in another...
  16. Update to yesterday’s post regarding unsettling motion in rear suspension. DEALER LEFT BOLTS UNTIGHTENED

Great find, had that happen to me on a Jeep. Loose front hub bolts after having dealer replace axle seals under warranty. Caused enough deflection to the right front wheel to where the rotor was scraping against the caliper bracket. Took it to the CJDR dealer (service director and general...
  17. New Recall?

    I used these cars as a sample (V8's and Ecoboost): https://www.downtownford.ca/new/vehicle/2024-ford-mustang-gt-premium-id13260465.htm https://www.downtownford.ca/new/vehicle/2024-ford-mustang-ecoboost-id13044773.htm https://yorkdaleford.com/view/new-2024-ford-mustang-960213/...
  18. Issue after getting rear axel and hub replaced. Dealer refuses to diagnose.

Well you should be able to get in there and see if something doesn't seem right at least with respect to the IRS. While it's up in the air, may help to check play in all the flexible connections (control arms, links, subframe, differential carrier, etc.). I can't offer advice on Mustang rear...
