As long as it’s in between the two marks you’re fine. You just have to monitor the level for stability, which may not happen for quite a while. Having it closer to the upper mark is a greater margin of safety if you’re not sure about oil consumption.

I don’t like engineering a solution for a car under warranty. These are cheap insurance IMO.
