Same here, gen3 5.0 has a distinctive crackle at low rpm. So, if really different, could be a gen4 5.0. Then again, it could just be an impression.

Are you suggesting the V8 car is at least representative of the S650 powertrain? Or is the V8 car a pure S550 (body & powertrain)?

Definitely a V8, and definitely a manual. "Bullitt" on the steering wheel is odd though. Maybe they're bringing back the Bullitt with a Tremec for 2023MY? With Mach 1 already out, not sure why they would have to do anymore testing, much less why all the camo.

If legit S550 body, then Ford is using it to either test a 1). Hybrid 5.0, 2). Pure ICE Gen4 5.0, or 3). Gen4 Hybrid 5.0.
