With GM and Dodge calling it quits on their ICE muscle cars, the horsepower wars are over in my book. As long as Ford has an ICE sports car, even at 400hp, that still takes the cake. Unless synthetic fuels become mainstream and a viable alternative to EVs, we're going to see the KWh wars.

I predict 500-525hp from the GT. OR, 500hp for the GT, and 525hp for the BOSS 302.

Slight tangent, but I'm not opposed to an EV for a daily. They may very well become easier and cheaper to maintain than ICE cars overtime as the tech improves.

Lines up pretty well, however, I think S650 will have a more aggressive rake (angle of slope) compared to S550.

Forgot to mention - I would not be surprised if quite a bit of the tech that will be employed in the GT3 (revised, endurance racing-spec 5.0; suspension; CF body panels, etc.) finds its way to the GT350 successor/BOSS 302 - similar to how IMSA Corvette tech trickles down to the street cars.

Also, if the above is representative of S650, then it certainly seems as though the S650 fastback will have a more aggressive rake as suggested.

Too lazy to look this up lol, but does anyone know if there are any homologation rules in place at this level? If yes, then GT3 and GT4 will definitely have to be S650 based, no?

I actually disagree. I don't think it'll be that similar to this. This is clearly just a mashup of the new Mondeo and S550. From Jem's description of what he saw, the headlights and grille (including shape) are supposed to look completely different from this render.

An S197 that looked like the above would sell faster than hotcakes. With that said, I'm still of the opinion that S650 will be a looker - if only based on Farley's claims of wanting S650 to be a poster car. My take from what we've seen so far is that it'll be the most modern looking "retro"...
