That's what I did with my S550. Springs, dampers, wheels, tires, Brembo brakes, sway bars, PP front control arms, strut tower braces, cross member brace. Also did the BMR cradle lockout kit. Track use wasn't my goal (I've done one track day in 5 years) but I wanted it to handle better in twisty...
Ford OEM wheels have conservative offsets. Something around ET30 would look better (more flush with the fender) for 20x9 and ET32-35 for 20x9.5.
Personally I would go 19x10 or 20x10 ET35 if I was going to upgrade from PP wheels so I could run wider tires.
I'm probably going to wait until Spring for suspension. The S650 I ordered has magneride, so the lowering spring options are limited. I'll probably go with Steeda and the BMR cradle lockout kit. I have BMR springs and cradle lockout on my S550.
My Christmas present might be the car itself (order is currently in production). I think I'll be shopping for an H-pipe and LED side markers to install shortly after its arrival. Maybe an aftermarket auto shifter.
Great looking car! Seeing that your scheduled week of 12/1 is the same as mine, I decided to check and mine is also in production. It was originally scheduled for 12/15, then changed to 12/01. Nice to see it keeps getting moved up!
You are correct. That's the S550 spec but I thought they changed it with the S650. I must have confused them with the Dark Horse wheels without the handling package.
Same sizes as the GT performance pack wheels. It would be nice if Ford Performance offered something that was an upgrade.
Edit: I stand corrected. These are 1/2 inch wider than PP wheels.
Agree. I had a similar experience with my S550. I wasn't looking for a white car, but found a good deal on a used one. Ended up putting silver stripes on it and a black spoiler.
The small blade spoiler that came on my 2019 was attached with bolts and adhesive. The aftermarket spoiler I replaced it with used the OEM holes.
Edit: just saw the other post saying it's the same for the S650.
