I owned an OG M2 and currently own a DH. Both properly equipped with three pedals. I agree with @Drewmandoo that the M2 suspension is brutal, although I haven't driven the new one, I doubt that it's much improved. The DH comfort (non-HP) is surprisingly good although the seats don't come...
I kind of doubt that, Ford dealers are not anything like Porsche. In my experience.
People that buy these limited cars with huge ADMs live in a different world than most of us. And I'm not talking about the TikTok influencers and Kalshi winners, I mean people with real money.
It's just a...
66 is a good price if you want the car. Don't buy it just because it's a good price. The screens are OK, you'll get used to them.
You better practice getting in and out with those seats. It was a deal-breaker for me.
It's a Mustang, it's just an option/trim package, it won't be a future...
I had to add something similar to my Zupra to reduce the cabin turbulence and thrumming when the windows were down. They worked fine and weren't nearly as large as those pictured here.
To reduce the noise in the Mustang, I just raise the passenger window a few inches, and it takes care of the...
@Zig got it right. OP, sorry to hear of this, best of luck.
This kind of nonsense happens frequently, it's all very shortsighted, and I wish you the best in your job search.
And it's just a car, you can always get another one later!
Best regards.
Another great post for the criminally OCD. I jest: DFB always does a great job.
I only use polish on my polishing pads, and they do occasionally dry out before I can get around to cleaning them. I use some unremembered variety of pad cleaner, work it in, rinse thoroughly. I skip the step...
The C8 is a fabulous driving car, but for some of us, the ease of getting in and out of that thing is a deal killer. As is the lack of a manual (my big reason). The Mustang rocks as far as ingress/egress. I read somewhere that the design of the pedal box precluded the availability of three...
Years ago at work, my boss asked me "how do you keep your car looking so good?" I replied, "I wash it often. "
Magic compounds and treatments are fine if you like that kind of stuff, but to me it's the basics of keeping it clean and a decent coat of wax. Frequent washing will remove the wax...
It's not a fair comparison, the BMW being like 20 years behind in technology.
You could probably sell that thing for almost what you paid for it these days...
Indeed! Look into HPDE events. Major car clubs (BMW, Porsche, Mustang, NASA, Audi) put on great events, with instruction, and they're generally quite safe and a lot of fun! This is just one example, use the search function for tracks near you.
I do a bit of HPDE and I always stick in the tow hook just in case I should slide off the track and need a helping hand. If no hook is available, they'll just grab onto whatever is easiest (suspension, etc.) and yank away. Their priority is to get you off the track pronto, not worrying about...
over the past couple of weeks, I bought the Automotive Advantage spare tire... (I have the Modern Spare for the BMW, but I don't like the universal fit versus the almost-made-for-it Mustang option from AA plus they're local to me) but passed on the full "kit" with jack and wrench since I have...
I don't know what CHT is.
I'm also confused, because typical autocross events last for one, maybe two minutes. There are no 45 minute courses, that's just crazy. Perhaps they mean that you'll be in line waiting for 45 minutes, that sound more typical.
A few seconds - even a minute or two of...
Ah... 1985. I had all of my hair, no body fat, and most of my innocence. LOL
I also had massive debt, no savings, a POS car, no wardrobe, and very little life experience.
