Maybe I'm wrong, but I could swear I saw a setting for this one time when I was looking through vehicle settings... Mine does it everytime i get in the car with or without remote start. I'll have to pay closer attention to see if it goes away under any conditions.

If you mean the background color, then yeah, its always dark. Im not sure if the convertibles have a brighness detector like our phone screens do. Maybe you are also getting glare from having the top down?

Yeah, the blue stripes look a little out of place in my worthless opinion. I think black stripes with either white or red outline would suit the car much better. You need more contrast between body and stripe colors.

Many people don't realize that trackers and alarms are routinely installed by some dealers under the dash and never disclosed. Whatever that is, it is 100% aftermarket and not supposed to be on a brand new car. My guess is its an alarm system, but regardless, I'd be back at the dealer asking...
