Which sub did you get, and how hard was the install? Plug and play?
  2. trunk liner?

I can confirm the trunk liners are not the same for the S550 and S650.
  3. Where is the stamped VIN number?

Wow. And I thought the DMV was a pain in the ass.
  4. Where is the stamped VIN number?

Why can't they use the Vin at the bottom of the windshield?
  5. Need your expert eyes! Stripes for Molten Magenta GT?

Some colors look better without stripes. Molten Magenta is one of them. So I say no stripes. But If you must have them, then number one.
  6. 5 Reasons Why The Base Mustang GT Is Better Than The Darkhorse!

GT means Grand Tourer or Grand Touring. It's a direct translation from the Italian "Grand Tourismo" which was the name Italians used for cars that traveled at high speed over long distances with luxury and comfort. Ford's Gran Torino was named after a city in Italy called Turin, and came well...
  7. 2026 Mustang Order & Pricing Guides [Updated]

Hmmm, I'm pretty sure the 400A inserts are that active X material, and the 401A is full grain leather. Same with the wheel. But yes, either way the stitching is much nicer on the 401A.
  8. Fitment advice: GT with progressive springs, daily driver with a little road course time

^ this. 10" is the goldilocks for a squared setup if you're doing any track stuff. SVE has several options in that size for the Mustang.

Hmmm. I wonder if Homelink is getting obsolete? Seems like it's easy to defeat from a security standpoint.
  10. 2026 Mustang Order & Pricing Guides [Updated]

Well the 400A had fake leather and hard plastic anyway. I still think the 401A gets you quite a bit more when you factor in the heated/cooled/powered seats, soft touch surfaces, real leather, and an upgraded sound system.
  11. 2026 Mustang Pricing, Photos, Specs & More

Awe cmon now. I thought the nerd meme was self depreciating enough. No need to add 20 years and 200 pounds! 🤣
  12. Strut tower brace for base Mustang GT

I had 20's on my 2015 (which did not come with a factory brace). I don't think there is significantly more danger of damaging the sidewalls than a 19". The ride quality is a marginally worse, but the tire choice also greatly impacts that. They do look super nice though.
  13. Paddle shifter extensions?

Those look nice. Carbon fiber or metal?
  14. 2026 Mustang Pricing, Photos, Specs & More

Well, not to go super nerd and correct you, buuuut they are two separate things. 😉 A pony car is a sporty small to compact car with a V8. Like the Mustang, Camaro and Firebird. A Muscle car is a mid size or full size car with a large big block engine and can include 4 doors. Think Charger...
  15. 2026 Mustang Pricing, Photos, Specs & More

It's bizarre for sure. I can't help but wonder if maybe there will be another to open the garage door from the infotainment system or something.
  16. Paddle shifter extensions?

Thanks for clarifying. I don't feel like mine need extensions so maybe the S650s are oriented a little higher than on the wheel than the S550. 🤷‍♂️
  17. Strut tower brace for base Mustang GT

Meh. Seems subjective to me. I doubt anyone would feel a difference in normal driving. I didn't. The objective is to reduce body roll and flex in the twisties, and look cool under the hood.
  18. 2026 Mustang Order & Pricing Guides [Updated]

It wasn't that way on the Mach 1. What a world we live in that paying extra for a manual transmission is now acceptable. 🤦‍♂️
  19. Paddle shifter extensions?

I assume you mean the Paddles? Lol
