And you ask, well how do you turn a GT into a DH and how can they both make the same power once tuned? Well like this...LOL When we are all special, then nobody is special...
Ive showed this before, but this is the only real difference between a GTPP 10R80 and a DH 10R80. Dont get tripped up on the actual numbers because its modeled tq, but this is why the DH has "more" hp than the GT, and only why.

Im not sure. All I know is its been proven many times over as these engines are pulled as to what they have and dont have. So if Ford did officially release statements or spec sheets listing what people think they were told, then Ford lied.
^^ This. And Ford will also stop returning your calls. You will have a fight on your hands for sure. I would bet dollars to donuts that another dealer would be able to solve this easily.
No Im saying they dont have them and never did and Ford never said they did. This is a classic Mandela effect scenario. Once you dig in and look for actual proof that it was ever released directly from ford, you wont find it. It may have been the plan and was in some pre-release material, but...
The DH does not have forged internals. You will not be able to find any reliable source other than repeated forum and FB posts of misinformation. Many shops have torn them down just to find they don't have forged internals.
And yes the DH and GT once tuned properly are the same power wise. People with DH think they got some higher end engine with more power and all they got was a GT with less tq management. The calibrations are identical except for a few tq management tables where the GT has more. And if you get...
Should be better than that. But their tunes are for the masses, probably 91 octane optimized. I dont blame them. But honestly should be able to do better gains wise with a real custom tune. Nothing against Steeda.
it’s all over the paperwork in BOLD letters that the installing dealer needs to give the customer that paperwork. For warranty purposes or if it needs to be reflashed for some reason. I’d ask them for it.
Oh and I had another customer with a Dark Horse have this same scenario and the accelerator pedal replacement was done as well as the throttle body replaced. Not sure which fixed their problem, but it was same as yours on factory stock manual DH.
In the tuning world, we see "limp mode" triggered from an IPC Torque variance error. Meaning the car is expecting xxx amount of tq at any given pedal demand, but its seeing xxx instead and that is telling the PCM there is something wrong and its going into limp mode.
Now with that said, we...
At this point in my life, I wouldnt remove the cats for and NA car. The smell and headache's (pun intended) from having to pass emissions with no cats is a pain. Not worth the gain. Now on boosted cars, its almost necessary so when you eventually destroy them, they dont wad up and push...
Log shows right around 14psi. That’s with the supplied 84mm pulley. If my butt dyno is even half accurate, this thing is screaming. I got to get a tire though. All I can do are 3rd gear rolls and on the 3-4 it damn near blows them off.
