So i charged the battery twice and no change. I had also driven car two 20 mile trips yesterday. Then i got in car today, again it said 11.5v, battery read 12.5v. Center display came up with statment saying update complete (finally). I had to acknowlage. Then front display now says 12v. So...
So i tried to update software for pushed pcm change and it said Interrupted. Called Ford using Ford Pass and was told battery was only at 40% charge. So i put a slow charge on battery for 6 hours. Battery read 12.6 volts, but dash display said 11.5 (???). I plugged in and tried to check charge...
Same. Car on charger now. Will try update again tonight. Was wondering if my several days of high speed driving effected battery charging, ie protection from overchsrging.
Yes, and now my car won't do a software update, and after calling Ford Pass, they were able to tell me that the battery was only at 40% and would not update (need to be 70%), even thought I had driven car 3 out of last 5 days.
The Diff will have a tag on it. If it has an L it's a limited slip and if it has a S it's Torsen. Only PP and DH came with torsen. In those, auto had 3.55 and manual had 3.73 gears.
Same here, agree. I first installed Pioneer (4ohm). It installed easier and sounded fine, but didn't realize issue with 8 versus 4ohm. B&O system uses 4ohm speakers everywhere but center. If anybody wants the Pioneer 4ohm, let me know.
The orginal grill has the pins that hold the original trim ring in place. I just used some double sided tape to hold orginal trim ring down over speaker then installed a 4 bar grill over it. The screws for the grill also hold the trim ring in place.
