Tires, not wheels, you will be buying more of them and more expensive ones ($350-$450 each) in an attempt to put the power down. And possibly wider wheels so you can put a wider tire on than stock.

Personally I don't see why you couldn't daily a Whipple car if you wanted to. The gas mileage isn't affected much if you drive normally. You will need a budget for rear tires. The car won't make any more noise or drive weird. It's not like a centrifugal car where you have that open bypass valve...
