  1. Our S650 HP compared to the C8.

Nope. You're using the same amount of air each stroke, doesn't matter if you use bore or stroke to get it. You're talking rod angle/rod ratio now. That's not bore vs stroke. You can use different length rods in the same stroke engine. Again doesn't really matter much And again, another common...
  2. Our S650 HP compared to the C8.

It doesn't really matter if it's stroke or bore. It's cubes. As I said the rod angle blah blah doesn't make enough of a difference to matter. You can make a similar cubic inch engine, one with more stroke and one with more bore and it will make the same power.
  3. Our S650 HP compared to the C8.

I'll bite One big thing with DOHC is you can fit more valve in the bore. Two (four, actually) smaller valves instead of one big one. Coyote and LT1 engines have similar surface area in the intake valves (and the LT1 has much smaller exhaust valve surface area) even though the LT1 has a much...
  4. Our S650 HP compared to the C8.

Different power curves, different goals, they used what they had (from the trucks + corvette) Let's remember GM does make a 670hp 5.5l DOHC NA V8
  5. Loss of power at 6,000 RPM 2025 GT

He's referring to the power flattening out at 6,000rpm
  6. Our S650 HP compared to the C8.

Mustang starts at 3,730 C8 Stingray? We recently got our hands on a 2020 C8 coupe with the Z51 performance package and promptly rolled it onto the scales. Its total curb weight came in at 3647 pounds, which is 195 more than the last C7 Corvette Stingray we weighed. You're looking at the...
  7. Our S650 HP compared to the C8.

C8's are known for going 121-122mph in the 1/4 so it's still faster on the top end
  8. Our S650 HP compared to the C8.

    Also the EcoBoost
  9. Can I quiet the exhaust

    Do you have stock mufflers?
  10. COLD AIR INTAKE

They don't do anything. It doesn't even make sense that they would work.
  11. COLD AIR INTAKE

Throttle body spacers are a scam. Only useful if you need them to fit your intake back on etc
  12. COLD AIR INTAKE

It isn't cooler. Hot air intake.
  13. COLD AIR INTAKE

Bigger throttle bodies won't be useful and the car will adapt itself for the increased airflow from the headers
  14. COLD AIR INTAKE

Not really sure it's fair to compare filters on two different cars
  15. Coyote In The Heat

It's not denser air. There's more water and less air. You can generally add a tiny bit of timing in it.
  16. Supercharged Decal?

Is the paint going to stick especially if you flex the intake piping at all?
  17. Ford perfomance tune for 2024+

The big torque increase at 2-3,000 rpm is a little misleading as the peak numbers aren't as big of a gain. Solid increase but you'll never really use where it's +70 or 80 unless you're lugging it around
  18. Tire size "help"

275 is a bit narrow for a 10" IMO Smaller in the rear would bug me
  19. Ford perfomance tune for 2024+

    Nothing official has been announced
