With the EcoBoost being a turbo, I'd be more worried about running 87 on it than the 5.0. I know you can run it on 87, but...
If you're trying to save money you should be buying something cheaper than even an EB. Like a $10k car.
164. But I already said, "They are only down 3% this month, which seems like no big deal. But they are down 20% this year compared to last year."
What?
I don't own a single Dodge product and haven't since a 1997 Neon.
The manufacturers have no interest in making a long-lasting engine any more.
Plastic parts, crappy DoD parts, DI systems that clog up your engine, ultra thin oil and yearly oil changes, lifetime fills of the transmission...
Except they weren't selling 50% of 100,000 units. How is that even relevant?
They are only down 3% this month, which seems like no big deal. But they are down 20% this year compared to last year.
I thought they might see a little jump with the employee pricing special they ran.
Ford Motor Company sales increased 16 percent to 220,959 units during May 2025 in the United States.
Ford Mustang sales decreased 3.17 percent to 5,010 units
Ford Mustang Mach-E sales increased 11.02 percent to 4,724 units
4,229 units behind last year
There were some people that dynoed the 24's when they first came out, full of 87 from the dyno
VMP added some Boostane to make "93" and gained like 20hp
A lot of dirty ass gas stations popping up lately, selling expired snacks and smelling like incense inside...don't trust using my credit card there or buying their gas.
Supposedly adding a bottle of quality fuel cleaner to your car every couple thousand miles will do just as good Oma job cleaning things up.
Also remember not all gas that isn't "top tier" is bad, it could have a great additive package in it, but the company just doesn't pay the Top Tier...
Just sharing an old drag racers trick...asking if anyone has dynoed it on these engines.
Overfilling it can be bad. Potentially losing pressure at high RPM. Again just looking for test data...before everyone runs out and adds a quart.
