Shelby does say in their video that a lot of thongs done to the Super Snake were things Ford engineers wanted to do but couldn't get to work on a large scale production/cost effective way.
It looks absolutely amazing, no doubt about that, but unfortunately I'm not fucking rich and that's a special order only package so RTR is still the best boutique option for me. Would still love to see one of those one day.
Shelbys new Super Snake for the S650 is finally being shown off. Featuring 830+ hp from the 3.0L Whipple, widebody front fenders made from carbon fiber. As well as 20" forged magnesium wheels and a full suite of other upgrades both outside and inside. No official pricing as of yet, but expect it...
Nothing for the S as of yet. As for the R it starts at 145k inquiries go through multimatic https://www.multimaticmotorsports.com/ford-mustang-darkhorse-r/
true, not a lot, but still it shows that they can add new stuff, so who knows, maybe well get more down the line for other major events, not holding my breath but would be nice to see
i have been thoroughly whelmed. For those who like to garage queen their mustang, sure looks pretty neat, but i dont see how this is any different from the GT/CS, NPP, or Bronze Pack that makes it super special. if its priced similar to those then theres no issue really, but the "limited...
Considering that I was still actively researching parts for my 2010 before upgrading to the S650, quite a lot. People love buying old cars and love looking at what people before them have done, it's great research material.
Good for long term recognition for sponsors
1 goes in the sponsor section
1 goes in the appropriate tech section
1 goes in the photos sections
Etc...
They only have so many spots in the 'new' feed and 5-10 years down the line when someone randomly Googles "best x for s650 mustang" they aren't...
First purchase or returning buyer? I know some places like granger do 2% over invoice so I'm not surprised others are, X-plan is just a more guaranteed way.
theres been a photo posted in another thread that basically confirms its the S650 Super Snake, it 100% wont be a GT500, those are Ford cars with a Shelby badge. If, somehow, we get a GT500 reveal this week it would be at Charlotte during the 60th anniversary event.
X-plan is roughly A plan +4% for simple math. as for why its only a few (5k in my case) off MSRP vs dealers going 5-6k off is simply: dealers dont discount spoken for special order cars, X-plan does.
Can do, I'd also suggest looking at the wheels and tires section here, most of what Vibe and N4S put up are 20s, RTRs wheels are also 20s, just note that a lot of the cars are lowered too.

Is my go too, it won't be 100% accurate because tire pressures, vehicle weights, etc can affect height in minor ways
If you're wanting to stick close to oem size for 19s you'll want 285/35 or 295/35, one is slightly shorter, the other is slightly larger.
For...
same thing here, got everything but the wheels and spoiler, didnt really like the spoiler and the RTR bronze wheels didnt scratch that itch as much as the wheels i have being shipped to me now. For the wing im fine with the PP wing for now, but im keeping a close eye on the FP800 wing that...
race 2 of the GT4 series at Phillip Island just ended with the Mustang GT4 taking the win overall after a late race penalty for the nearest competitor in P2 left their McLaren 10 seconds behind at the finish line, they also won the first race as well making it a sweep. Great way to start this...
