4S are tractionless when it's cold
  2. Spline Lug Nuts - What are your thoughts

Used them forever they're fine. Impact wrench can twist them so be careful
  3. Tune options for a 2025 Dark Horse

You will see a massive gain from a tune on a turbo car (40-50hp) but on a regular V8 there is only a fraction of that to be had. DH is pretty maxed out from the factory on 93
  4. Tune options for a 2025 Dark Horse

Catch can, air filters, h pipe don't need to be tuned for since they really don't do anything. Headers really don't need a tune either. you'll pick up a tiny bit of power with a tune on 93 but the benefit is in the automatic trans tuning and e85 tune if you have that in your area
  5. Michelin PS4S Cracked and Ruined!

Haven't had it happen, it seems like more of a problem with Sport Cups or Trofeo R tires
  6. Yes, I know it's best to get winter wheels/tires for the GT, but how many opted for UHP All Season instead?

All-seasons don't compete with snows when you're actually using them in snow.
  7. Thoughts on Warm up Times?

E3 is the current bullshit ass spark plug
  8. 24 RTR Chin Splitter / Jacking Points

Get a long-reach, low profile jack at Harbor Freight
  9. Thoughts on Warm up Times?

Start car. Put seat belt on. Plug SCT device in. Turn off traction control. Turn off TPMS warning. Back out of garage. Close garage door. Back out of driveway. Drive away normally. Let water temp hit 180 before giving it the beans (oil temp trails water temp but that's good enough)
  10. Startup after sitting LONG / Oil pressure

Priming would be getting oil through a new dry engine what are we talking about then? Getting oil through an engine that isn't dry? If it's not dry...
  11. Startup after sitting LONG / Oil pressure

Ford saying "do not prime the engine by cranking it" doesn't mean anything I guess. It doesn't flow as much as the engine starting up. Too low of an rpm from the starter alone.
  12. Startup after sitting LONG / Oil pressure

2V has the same overall design include oil pump type
  13. To Supercharge or not to Supercharge...is that even a question?

Drawbacks: 1. you could blow it up 2. the car will be stupid fast (yes that can be a drawback) 3. depending on your tires you may have serious traction issues below highway speeds. Like spin out and fly off the road. 4. gets expensive fast
  14. Questions about Steeda H pipe

except Chinese stuff sucks most of the time Even your "craftsman" tools "China" makes stuff as good as you're willing to pay for but if you want really quality you go to Taiwan Vietnam and India are making the bottom level shit now
  15. Startup after sitting LONG / Oil pressure

Look how long it takes to prime this engine using a drill Careful observers will notice the engine is not turning over, they are just turning the oil pump
  16. Startup after sitting LONG / Oil pressure

So are we supposed to do this every time we start the car? Or just after a certain number of days? And what is that number? And do we still have to do it if we use Ceratec or Amsoil?
  17. Select SVE Wheel & Tire Kits On Sale With LMR's Black Friday Sale!

Run-flats suck for performance. Just buy the wheels and then get whatever tires you want at your local shop.
  18. Startup after sitting LONG / Oil pressure

Run the engine "dry", with the starter, at 2-300rpm for 15 seconds (how long are "the primers" turning the key, and how many times do they do it?) or just turn the key and start the car, run the engine "dry" for 1 second at 200-300 (starting speed) and then for the one second until you see oil...
