i asked my salesperson about the status earlier today and as of yesterday it's on the trim line, and went through the body shop on thursday! glad i wont have to wait 9 months for a Mustang again
i've never owned an already powerful car that has been boosted, but if i ever get around to it, whipple supercharger no doubt. wouldn't catch me dead with a roush
supposedly mine is being built today, so hopefully this means that mine won't sit at Ford for long, if at all. El Mirage, on the other hand, it might sit for who knows how long because they take forever over there. Honestly might consider asking about picking it up directly from El Mirage

you know, the funny thing is i was just thinking about that earlier today. i can't say for 100% certain, but it seems like it might be possible to swap the dual screens for the single one and vice versa. the main barrier is price, though. no prices for the screens are listed yet but i can...
you got me doubting so i asked around, sure enough gas guzzler taxes are not covered by price protection, but some dealers may decide to tank the tax out of their profits if it was added or increased, but that depends on the dealer
when in 1st or 2nd the transmission will normally freewheel, but in the manual mode 1st and 2nd will engine brake. drive mode has no effect on engine braking
taxes bypass the price protection, so no matter what you will be charged for that gas guzzler tax, even if you have an invoice and window sticker without it listed

that really would trip up a would-be thief, wouldn't it?
here's the manual shift boot part numbers if anyone is planning on doing that
