i have lost track of how many people i've taught stuff that their salespeople should've shown them. yesterday i taught a guy basically everything there was to teach about his 2023 Super Duty
some useful info for anyone trying this, here's a guide on how to find the right wires. ambient lighting has 4 wires, red power, green power, blue power, and ground. vehicles have 2 used ambient lighting zones, 1 and 3. zone 2 is unused and has no wiring at all. there is a long 26-pin connector...
nonsense. the base EcoBoost (100A with no options) has 17" diameter wheels. parts department guys are most likely to have no idea what they're talking about
up behind the rear view mirror is only a camera for pre-collision assist and lane keeping/centering, as well as an interior motion sensor if you have that (it's off to the right, though). radar is only on the bottom grill for adaptive cruise, and the rear corners for BLIS
my experience has been really good with the 10R80 too, except for downshifting to 2nd with the paddles. it's sometimes delayed and harsh. weirdly, my Mach 1 used to have the same issue, but my EcoBoost never did
taking that cover off will expose your washer fluid reservoir and PCM, allowing someone to both disconnect the hose for the washer fluid, and disconnect your PCM
i did my first oil change at around 1000 miles. not looking forward to future oil changes. requires the removal of 21 7mm bolts to get the filter without making a huge mess
i never understood the idea of supposedly making a modern high-performance intake manifold "better" by making it rougher. i think it's a bit of a scam, like throttle body spacers and billet oil pump gears. if it was so easy for manufacturers to get some extra power, why don't they?
planning on getting some parts of Azureus wrapped gloss black eventually. here's a really rough idea of what i had in mind
again, it's a really rough picture but it gets the idea across. under the headlights, roof, antenna, and that triangular area along the side
this is a problem i have been having on and off too. bugs on the CCM do not cause it, i dont know what does. @Ford Motor Company take note, guys. might be time to release a TSB on this. it has the potential to cause accidents and other problems if it happens while driving
