no problem, i'm always here to help. i also updated my post in case someone else comes along and wants to do this same thing, they have all the information they need
you got me thinking, so i took a look and it seems that all the main connectors have the same amount of used and unused pins with the same usages, maybe it could be re-pinned? in any case, here's some diagrams if you want to try that
as for where to find the diagrams, to my knowledge they...
i dont know, it might not work because even the non-brembos have a new rear knuckle. even if you did get it working, every time you start your vehicle and repeatedly after that you will either get a red message and an "urgent problem" sound saying "Check Brake System" or "Park Brake Fault...
yeah, it's a fair few parts, but comparing it to the S550 isn't fair because only the Shelby S550s came with a fixed rear caliper; so a brembo kit was the fronts only
got some bad news for anyone who was looking to do the drift brake conversion. it's very hard. and expensive. the wiring harness that connects to the little switch has much different pinning compared to the drift brake, and that harness is a huge one that spans the whole dash and center console...
if you dont care about the memory function, all you need to do is the FORScan stuff. no new module required AFAIK. Ford calls that part "Module - Seat Memory"
i noticed something on the European build and price things for the Mustang, the Dark Horse has a new shifter for the autos!
GT:
DH:
interestingly, ECat shows that all Mustangs built after January 22nd, 2024 have a new shifter part number for the auto transmission
yes they do, on the bottom of the mufflers is the text "Ford Performance by Borla". Shelby also uses them and the kits that come on something like the Super Snake have "Shelby by Borla" on the bottom of the resonator
the drift brake is just the standard Brembo parking brake with with the pull-handle instead of the little switch. you have to change some stuff in the ABS module, add some things to the IPC and APIM, then you have the drift brake. your parts guy was just saying stuff, the brakes act the same...
it's not fair that you overseas guys get a GT with -47 hp and -20 torque and a DH with -53 hp and -20 torque compared to the US models. hopefully the S650 can be tuned soon so that lost power can be recovered
apparently, the 2025 Explorer is going to be using "Ford Digital Experience" instead of SYNC 4, and it looks to be based on Android Automotive (not to be confused with Android Auto)

was going out to do something for lunch and the guy in front of me swerved for something. turns out he swerved for a big wooden chair that fell off a truck. the chair fell off to the side of the road but i hit a metal strap for the chair that was almost invisible against the road. i am...
