the VIN you have is of one not in production. the one i recently found is done and built. this may prove to be a vital difference. i am also using it to see if i can somehow get suspension tuning to be a thing
i managed to find a VIN that was produced through a friend. from there, i used the tools i have access to, whether public or not, get this information. sorry about the information being so vague, i kinda have to do that to protect myself
the job 2s and later have a different LDCM software version. i was going to look to see what software version the GTD that has actually been produced has, but i think either Ford's system to see software versions is down or they have somehow blocked me. in any case, i am currently sifting though...
i am 90% sure i was so close to making some sort of discovery. i managed to find an actually produced GTD VIN, and was gonna check the as-built data. unfortunately, it looks like Ford's servers are down for maintenance and will be back up in about 10 hours
also, i figured out why he charges what he does for his services. a 2 day license to FDRS is $50. 30 day is $200. 365 day is $900. you also need a specific adapter, and if you want to buy the dealer stuff (VCM 3), thats another $1800. Bosch also makes one that is $2000. FDRS does actual module...

oh ok, so you do mean the center screen. the dash or instrument cluster is the one with your speedometer and tachometer
yeah, he has some interesting stuff for sure, like he activated the auxiliary gauges and (i assume) My Mustang menu on a Taurus/Mondeo
for those wondering, you can do this even if you have a 2024 job 1. with FORScan, go into your APIM and change these values:
7D0-03-01
xxxx
**xx
xx--
change the value that is in ** to 2D. this gives you the splash screen of the GTD
7D0-03-02
**xx
xxxx
xx--
change the value that is in...
weird thing is i had this happen to me yesterday on my way into work. it just disappeared. a couple hours later, i went back and started it and it was back. technology is weird, man...
the headlights Ford lists as for the GTD seem to also be the ones they list as for 401A GT Coupes
yeah, we definitely do. this VIN looks like a US one based on the window sticker. it references the EPA and their fuel economy website. i found a video of a GTD at the Goodwood Festival of Speed...
Ford's ECat does not know some GTD VINs yet, i tried. there are also no BCMs listed for the GTD in general. HCM is listed as NL1Z-13K198-T, GWM is listed as PU5Z-14G490-AU, LDCMA/B is listed as P3HZ-13C788-D, and headlights are listed as PR3Z-13008-X for left and PR3Z-13008-R for right. apart...
