after my trip to California, i am up to just shy of 25,000 miles. 17 months of ownership. everything still going fine. at this rate, in 5.6 years i will have 100,000 miles
so its a Super Snake without the widebody and down 20hp? this seems really pointless, honestly. im sure its gonna cannibalize any potential sales of a Super Snake that were hesitant about dropping $160k. now for $50k less they can get basically the same thing. does Shelby know how to do trim...
yeah, that tends to be how screens on the dash work. they're not connected to the engine, so when your 5.2L drops a valve, the screen wont be affected. same is true for most or all other vehicles with a screen on the dash. your dash screen is the same LCD type as ours, just lower resolution with...
i have nearly 25,000 miles on mine and have had exactly 0 issues with either of the screens. mine is a first year and job 1. my guess is this is an isolated issue, but forums can bring the few together and make it seem like more
i finally saw a Shelby Super Snake and i honestly think its a total dud. only possibly worthwhile thing on it is the upgraded brake rotors and the idea of a widebody kit, otherwise you are paying insane amounts for a supercharged GT that makes barely more power than the Ford Performance...
i was usually cruising 85mph. plus, that was the estimate given by the general fuel economy gauge. i didnt think to actually set up a trip to track it properly
got back yesterday from a road trip to San Jose and back, and the Dark Horse is very good at road trips! better than the Mach 1 was! here's some details for the whole trip
total miles: ~1500
average mpg: 16.7 to 16.9
total drive time: ~23 hours
stopped for fuel: 6 times
total time stopped...
gotta be honest, im not a fan. from what i can tell, it lacks the details that a FoMoCo key would have, and seems more like a flat image. it also doesnt have the shiny black around the edge.
it also looks like its made by 3d printing. i dont know what material specifically, but the finish tells...
actually, i just checked, and vehicles without memory seats actually do have DDM and PDM modules. i checked this using a 100A EcoBoost and a 700A Dark Horse with recaros. though, your point about it being wired directly to the BCM is true still
thank you for pointing out my mistake. it might then be a matter of plugging it in, and if it doesnt work, exploring the BCM tab of the spreadsheet for possible solutions
in both the DDM and PDM (driver door module and passenger door module), you will need to change these values. both modules should be the exact same, so dont worry about the lack of a "PDM" tab in the spreadsheet
i personally dont recommend putting headers on for a few reasons:
1. the aftermarket cats are not as good at actually converting exhaust gasses.
2. the aftermarket cats are weaker than the factory ones.
3. with a Corsa Extreme exhaust installed, headers are going to make it even louder. there is...
i cant say for 100% sure, but the evidence of wiring diagrams and some posts on other forums from the previous gen certainly imply that it will work. just be sure to enable the indicators in the DDM and PDM
the first diagram is a layout of the connections to the mirrors on an NA Mustang. importantly, the caption says "without memory", but the diagram still shows the indicator. however, this specific diagram mainly highlights the wiring for the power adjustable mirrors for vehicles without the...
after doing some looking, i have 2 choices. either buy the overseas harness and modify it with the connector and wires for memory seats, or keep the NA harness and modify 4 wires. my only possibly issue is that on the NA models, there is a special ground for BLIS, so i dont know if sending that...
that is very confusing. i dont know why its listed like that. ecat makes no mention of any of that, and the diagram clearly shows no signal on it
what you found there is really odd. im not sure if that is an engineering number, because the prefix is correct for an engineering number, but the...
at the risk of throwing stones from my glass house, i agree
is it bad that i dont actually hate that idea? a performance hybrid hatchback with the styling of the current Prius sounds like it would be pretty neat
same here, my paint has been great
you might want to take that to your dealer and...
there are actually 5 different wiring harnesses per door
left door:
PR3Z-14631-DA power, heated, memory, puddle lamps, blis, indicator (401A, 201A, 700A)
PR3Z-14631-EA power, blis, less interior light group, 6 speaker (really basic spec)
PR3Z-14631-FA just says "power door lock double locking"...
