  1. Anyway to disable Android Auto when connecting phone?

you can disable Android Auto by going into Settings > Phone List in SYNC. you will then see three icons to the right of each device's name. the two icons on the left are for calls and audio. the rightmost icon is for Android Auto. when the Android Auto icon is on, the other two will be greyed...
  2. Front Fenders

i've personally never heard of either of those companies, so i have no idea how good they are. but Anderson Composites has their own GTD-style fenders too, and if i remember right, they actually are the ones who do carbon fiber parts for Ford Performance...
  3. Walk away locking

if i remember right, walk away lock has a bug in it where even if you enable it, if you turn it off in SYNC you can only turn it back on by going through FORScan

you've been added, and welcome to the forums!
  5. 1K HP Club for the Lethal Performance DarkHorse!!

impressive results! 20.7psi of boost on a 12:1 compression ratio engine is just nuts. and it handles it all pretty well for stock internals and exhaust manifolds, but i really wonder how long this engine will last at that power level. also, did i read that right in the video that you guys revved...
  6. Has anyone enlarged their air filter front grill openings filter inlet?

yeah, based on those stories. which is why i said "aggressive spirited driving". there's not nearly enough people complaining about transmission and oil temps putting them into limp mode vs how we all know Mustang owners drive to say "regular spirited driving". and those people weren't on a...
  7. Has anyone enlarged their air filter front grill openings filter inlet?

i don't know if this ends up being a real issue in practice. the GT makes enough power to overheat the oil and transmission fluid without the performance package when you do some more aggressive spirited driving, so it's not like the reduced gaps really impact power output in a meaningful way...
  8. S650 Mid Cycle Refresh

i think a hybrid setup would need a new chassis entirely. i mean, you could in theory do an AWD one like the Corvette, but i remember some guy did an AWD conversion for his Mustang and it required modification of the oil pan to fit the differential and half shafts, among other mods. a RWD one...
  9. Catch Cans - Do They Really Do Anything Beneficial?

yeah, me too. Ford has still not revised those PDI sheets
  10. Catch Cans - Do They Really Do Anything Beneficial?

both, but kinda neither too. Ford reused a lot of stuff, but added some new wording too. here is the section on catch cans from the 2021 GT500 owner's manual
  11. Catch Cans - Do They Really Do Anything Beneficial?

that is reused from the GT500, it was the only Mustang with an oil catch can that drained back into the valve cover
  12. S650 Mid Cycle Refresh

ford seems to be trying to do a 3 year thing, where they do 3 model years, refresh, 3 more model years, then new gen. taking the F-150 as an example, 2015 had a new gen, 2018 was a refresh, 2021 was a new gen, 2024 was a refresh. but also Ford has had some shorter runs like the weird 2022 Super...
  13. Catch Cans - Do They Really Do Anything Beneficial?

the idea is that they catch oil that would've gone from your crankcase to your intake, and that oil would've lowered the octane of fuel. the reality is that, unless you're doing something to increase crankcase pressure, like supercharging, this is a non-issue. the amount of oil is minuscule, and...
  14. Fitcamx Dash Cam

never underestimate how stupid people are. i have a story about a tailgater from just yesterday. i was on my way home and a Hyundai Elantra was tailgating me, with no more than 10ft between my rear bumper and her front bumper. every lane change and turn i made was mirrored by her for nearly 3...
  15. roket's Dark Horse - "Azureus" Project

oil change is done. put in 10qt of Royal Purple. also tested the wireless charger and my guess is probably right. it's getting too hot because of proximity to the transmission tunnel
  16. roket's Dark Horse - "Azureus" Project

some misc updates from this week and my current plans: - battery went bad, had to replace it. thankfully it was under both the bumper to bumper 3 year 36k mile warranty, and the battery's own 12 month 12k mile warranty. state of charge was as low as 49% before replacement. - i figured out that...
  17. Does anyone know why Ford deleted wireless charging for S650 MY25?

i checked again on my drive home today. ~40 min and 25 mile drive. the wireless charger, while empty and the A/C was on auto for 77 degrees, got very, very warm to the touch. i also found out that the Bronco seems to have had it's wireless charging deleted, and at least the Ranger has 15W fast...
  18. Unofficial 2025 60th Anniversary Edition Mustang Registry

very sorry! i must've missed your previous message. i've went ahead and fixed it
  19. Least Expensive Performance Upgrades?

headers are honestly not even worth it. so much money on them plus install for minimal gains. in fact, i would say that Ford has gotten the Mustang to the point where diminishing returns is getting very aggressive. there's only so much power you can get out of a naturally aspirated 5032cc DOHC...
  20. Unofficial 2025 60th Anniversary Edition Mustang Registry

i added you, but you seem to have forgotten to list if it is a coupe or convertible
