  1. Smell of Coolant

My '24 Ecoboost had coolant smell after driving (and confirmed disappearing coolant even after refill). Traded it in before it became a bigger issue. My '25 GT also has a coolant smell after I park it. Confirmed disappearing coolant too. Unknown cause at this point. Since I've experienced this...
  2. Quad tip for 2025 Mustang EcoBoost

Any sound clips? I'm curious how these sound. I'm guessing "Extreme" version is just a muffler delete basically
  3. Thinking of taking a trip across country

I recommend carrying either a spare tire, or tire plug kit + tools to remove a wheel. The car's included inflator works fine, just use port "B" for air without sealant liquid. For many years I'd do ~3,500mile/week roadtrips in rental V8s from California to Wyoming/Montana every few months...
  4. Bad news & good news: engine replacement

Good to hear your issue was taken care of, and I will reference your process and keep an eye on my fluids. I've also noticed coolant decline over time for no good reason, oil drip/small leak from the factory oil filter caught on the first oil change, and newly-added coolant turning dark...
  5. New 2026 Mustang GT Convertible (Orange Fury) owner

Nice color... makes you excited just to look at it!
  6. Bad Curb Rash

In order of cheapest to most expensive: 1. wheel repair specialist 2. buying "take-offs" off Craigslist/eBay 3. buying new OEM wheels from Ford
  7. New Software Update 1/13/26?

Same, my dash reset in the past week and the site also shows "it's been over 90 days" since last update. Who knows
  8. FORScan help with A10 gear indicator

I made this change and am really happy with it. Helps me understand what the car is doing and when it's shifting, so I know to correlate what I feel with the transmission actions to better detect any issues. Wish I had done it sooner.
  9. Borla S-Type axle back vs Borla Atak axle back

I installed a Roush axle-back from the S550 generation on my S650 and it was exactly the sound I wanted: deeper, louder, no rasp. IMO changing mufflers + resonator is too loud and creates a vibrating tin can raspy noise I don't like. Like you, I also had a 6th gen Camaro with NPP and I pulled...
  10. Anyone else struggled deciding between EcoBoost and GT for daily driver?

At least once a week. Cumulative 26.7MPG on my '24 Eco and 21.5MPG on my '25 GT (auto). Moderate (70-80MPH) cruising on the freeway can >25-27MPG easily sometimes, around down definitely drops it.
  11. Anyone else struggled deciding between EcoBoost and GT for daily driver?

If you judge Ecoboost objectively, isolated from any pre-conceptions of what a Mustang/muscle car "should be", just purely as a RWD +LSD coupe making X power for Y dollars, it's an unbeatable value in the car market. Had a '24 Ecoboost, now a '25 GT, considering "downgrading" to a '26 Ecoboost...
  12. S550 Borla Axleback on S650?

Hangers should be the same, exhaust shop should be able to install that no issue. My only nitpick using an S550 Roush axle-back on an S650 was the tips didn't stick out far enough by 1". It's kinda personal preference, how far you want the tips to stick out, but if you're taking it to a pro...
  13. 2026 Mustang RTR: Drift-Ready from the Factory: Inside the Development

Did some more digging and I think he's mistaken or got confused by what the rep told him. In order to add the RTR package, you have to have the "High" trim first, which itself costs $2,195. Personally, I suspect the RTR package will be like $5K.
  14. 2026 Mustang RTR: Drift-Ready from the Factory: Inside the Development

So it may be a $2,195 package according to this Raiti's Rides video If true, would be a great deal because the cost of upgraded wheels/tires/RTR grille/exterior touches alone is worth that. And you get big Brembos, Dark Horse suspension bits, the GT steering rack, the GT radiator fan, and a...
  15. 10 Speed Automatic feedback?

At least on my 10R80 car, 3rd and 6th are rough shifts. The 3->1 shift when rolling to a stop seems consistently rough. I've unintentionally spun the car twice (including on the freeway at high speed--thankfully didn't hit anything) partly because I gave it too much throttle in the wet but also...
  16. PP Question

I got a base auto GT zero options and I regret not getting PP and active exhaust. It's hard to find one spec'd w/PP near me (Northern California), and if one wants a good deal, probably better to go the custom order route via Granger.
  17. Impulse Buy - FP Sport/Extreme Active Axleback by Borla

Curious to hear how it sounds compared to your stock active exhaust
  18. How clever is Ford.

I have an Oxford white now, which gets a dirty rear end immediately. Had a Carbonized grey before and wish I had that again, color would perfectly hide the road dust
  19. Axle back exhaust

I have a Roush axle-back for 15-17 Mustang GT's, single-tip on each side. It fits S650 GT's, but the original Roush tips are little short for the S650 chassis, should extend out like 1" longer for my tastes. I had to buy separate tips, 12" length, and they stick out like 1" too long now. Ideal...
  20. 2025 GT — 12,000 Mile Review

10R80? That scares me about the longevity of these transmissions, especially if one has fun with the car
