  1. 2025 Eco Convertible - Question about unlatching roof

It's probably the active noise cancelling, I believe all convertibles do that. Can be turned on/off in FORScan
  2. Factory paint defect in suspension towers

I would also like to see the other side to see what OP is talking about. But I wonder about these things. Every screw hole is exposed in the threads. And if you ever replace a body panel (like the steel fenders on our S650s), they scratch and rub a little bit during fitment and getting screwed...
  3. Dark Horse Mustang Gets First Discount Sale! $3,500 Cash Incentive/Rebate Being Offered

Saw someone post somewhere else they got a DH $12K under MSRP I saw multiple reports of optioned out leftover GTs $10-12K under MSRP in the past year as well Base base zero-option GTs $40-41K seems the floor We should all aim for deep discounts, these cars should not go for anywhere close to MSRP
  4. clunking/small knocking when light braking

For the benefit of anyone who stumbles upon this thread in the future: there are 2 different issues described in this thread. Most posters are referring to 'transmission output shaft flange' lacking lubrication, causing a driveline clunk at low speeds or shifting between Drive <> Reverse). My...
  5. Sad day for someone... S650 rollover

Sad to see, that's a nice spec too with Performance Pack and the red painted calipers.
  6. Wiring a dash cam and radar detector in your S650 the easy way (No permanent modifications)

Thanks for this write-up. Any base model owners accomplished similar? I've seen many of these tutorials, but none of them apply to base model Mustangs since we don't have a 5-pin adapter. Only a 3-pin adapter going to the rain sensor.
  7. Added Roush Axle Back to My Performace Pack

Interesting datapoint. I have a non-active base GT, added Roush axleback, finding it loud enough but will have to hear an active exhaust.
  8. Patched My Fender Well Holes - DIY Instructions & Photos

Interesting, looks like they designed yet a new fender liner for '26 compared to '25. Early '25s didn't even have the hole patched. Mid '25s and on had the hole area still, but covered over with another felt-textured piece (Ford was probably using up their supplies of the initial design fender...
  9. Ford Mustang GT gen7 Pop & Bang in Korea

Needs even more pops, maybe if you downshift at high RPM. I really miss the 6th gen Camaro. Factory active exhaust would do long trains of pops when downshifting >3K RPM. If you coast downhill, the pops would continue seemingly indefinitely at the right RPM ~3-3.5K. The closest I've gotten on...
  10. Status on known 2026 Mustang defects and issues....are any of these resolved yet?

I am that annoying obsessively detail-oriented person. My personal experiences: '24 Ecoboost - engine burned foam insulation under hood on passenger side (no clue why, traded car in at 8 months) - coolant mysteriously disappearing (cap allows evaporation/leakage as designed? Many posters report...
  11. A10 transmission loud mechanical clunk at startup

They all do this I believe. Noticed this on both a '24 Eco and '25 GT. Tends to happen when the car is warm-started, shut off 1-30min ago. Never does this when cold started. I'm curious what's causing it. Seems troubling, since that mechanical shock can't be good for drivetrain components.
  12. Auto Start/Stop killed by EPA rules deregulation

They should do a firmware update where it's OFF by default, then you push the button if you want to turn it on (like if you're pulling up to a huge intersection that has a 2-minute wait, or pausing on your favorite twisty road to leave some space from the car in front)
  13. 2026 Dodge Charger SixPack Starts At $51,990

I noticed they're charging $695-795 for every paint option (except black). Even boring old paint options from the prior gen Challys (like White Knuckle for example, their basic flat white, even that's +$695) So effectively add that to the starting price, they just wanted to advertise "starts at...
  14. Typewriter Tick/ BBQ tick fact compilation?

Mine definitely has it, started maybe around the first oil change or perhaps even a bit before. I notice it most when driving near walls. It can sound kind of intermittent or more regular. I initially thought it was something hitting a wheel spoke or something stuck on the driveshaft, then...
  15. New Wheels and Tires for my Mustang GT

Wheel gap does look high, might be from unloading the suspension to change wheels. After some more driving it'll probably settle down
  16. Who was this? Was it you?

    Nice drifting
  17. Evidence of tiny oil leak from oil filter housing

Re-checked now 2 months/2600 miles since oil change, zero signs of leak or drip. So the original OEM oil filter must have been slightly loose from the factory. Can't believe that can even happen, I thought they'd be perfectly robo-torqued.
  18. Extensive Photos 24 GT Coolant Level Fluctuating?

Let us know what the dealer says. My unmodded '25 GT also has mysteriously dropping coolant. I haven't noticed rising back up, I wonder if that's temp-related. But mine definitely has dropped, I added more, and it dropped over time as well. Seems to be a few cups (16-24oz) over 5-10K miles. I...
  19. Selling my 2025 DH and the market is in the tank

Cycled through 4-5 new cars the last couple years and noticed when a car is still within a couple years old, trade-in value hovers around the same level. So it doesn't make sense to trade within 1-2yr, if one can resist the urge (I apparently cannot).
  20. Riddle me this (trade-in values)

2024 with more than double the miles is worth $4,000 more than an identical 2025? Not based on a specific VIN, so it's not due to options, or collision history, or anything like that. I got these values by entering model, year, make, and options (just auto transmission and white color). Can...
