I like the S650 GT a lot, but after really thinking about it, the only "con" my EcoBoost has in comparison is that it doesn't sound like a GT. Other than that, I get better fuel economy and handling for a daily city driver. Right now it doesn't make sense for me to upgrade to what would...
I guess my main gripe with this color is that nothing about this yellow metallic paint looks "Intense" or "Lime". That said, I'm more of a dark green/pearl white metallic person. 😅
It's a disappointment as I like how it looks everywhere else. Can't wait to see how the sedan looks in comparison, but as it is I imagine the coupe is already sized like classic muscle cars.
Before I test drove the latest Bronco, I was on board with the idea of fake sound inside the vehicle. In the case of the Sonata N-Line, while it couldn't make up for bland driving dynamics, the sound it made inside (an aggressive blend of an inline 4 and boxer 4) definitely put a smile on my...
So a few weeks ago I tried track driving again, this time at Dream Racing in Vegas. This time I took Dramamine an hour before the experience and it went much better than two years ago at Speed Vegas. I certainly didn't set any new lap records, but I enjoyed driving cars I'll very likely never...
California Special and 60th Anniversary don't strike me as variants the same way Dark Horse and GTD do. If anything CS and 60 are dressed up non-Performance Pack GTs more than anything.
Hmm...by that logic, I could say I drive an F12ecoboost and mostly technically not be wrong...😝
As long as there's still a "practical" Mustang around (is a coupe/sedan that has a usable trunk and either seats 2+2 or 4-5), a front-mid "pure sports car" 2-seater Mustang would be cool in my book.
I'd love to see an AWD GT, with or without it being a hybrid. Or if not that, an AWD/hybrid V8 sedan variant option (with or without the Mustang name). I can't imagine it being under or around $50-55K though.
Back on topic, could the Cobra be more GT350 than GT500 as far as handling dynamics go?
My EcoBoost is completely stock and will stay that way until I get into a GT. But until I get a GT (if I ever do, priorities/circumstances change and all that), I'm going to keep enjoying my EcoBoost as much as I can, lawn mower sounds and all.
That said, I apologize if I'm annoying. I do try...
Ok, "Basic 'Boost" owner here. I will likely never track my Mustang or push it to its absolute limits. But you'd have an easier time telling me my car sounds like lawn mower vomit before convincing me my EcoBoost handles like diarrhea-drizzled runs and that I should be absolutely ashamed for...
(shrugs) I'd say in that case that the EcoBoost would be less tempting for car thieves than the GT, especially if you have to park your Mustang outside every day.
Same if you mention a Mustang sedan 😉, which I'm not sure if that'll come before the Mustang that slots between the Dark Horse and GTD (if they even make either one of those).
