Well… if these are real - and it sure looks that way…
I really like what they did with the front and rear. About what we expected and it looks really nice. Much better than some renders.
the interior dash looks great, but the lower console section seems carryover?
the Fallon video made it...
as a designer myself, I will say there is some truth to that. But true minimalism is misunderstood. And it’s also the hardest thing to pull off with excellence.
that said, there’s a whole lot of NOT excellent atuff passing for “design” these days.
Apple, Ford, Nike, and a few others actually...
it’s kind of sad. The no-production-value stuff floating around is just not that enticing. But it gets the word out cheaply and widely.
I imagine we will see a proper, slickly produced commercial after launch. They can’t exactly show that kind of thing now while the car is still mostly secret.
i noticed that too, but very difficult to do with that roofline and rollover/safety regs.
on the interior shot, it looks about the same thickness as s550. Hopefully that photo is close snd they masked the appearanceby being the glass closer together on the outside to give it a slim look...
Looks like it’s digital.
Could relate to a setting in the dash.
Perhaps A performance setting that affects suspension firmness, engine response, and possibly auto transmission shifts.
might not actually be a physical emblem that goes in the car.
I like it and I don’t. I like the idea of a...
Looks significantly different to me. For one, the window appears noticeable larger. It’s also possible that the exterior glass tapers more sharply than the interior plastic cover. Ford always rounds the edges on the inside a bit.
we will see in less than one day! Man… even that feels like forever.
Not like this. the s500 ends in. a geometric sort of broken Dorito. The s650 comes to a sharp point.
The lines really flow with the roof and the fenders. And they just took a chainsaw and chopped off like a foot of rear overhang. Dang.
I don't get that at all. It actually makes the Camaro look fat. The reaer quarter window is nothing alike. The rear overhang on the 650 is hardly there.
Looks more like the rear of a Ferrari or Aston Martin.
I'm in shock they actually showed that much already. Super excited.
Wow. the mosaic isn't hiding much if you know what to look for. The rear quarter window looks like a sharp upturn, almost reminiscent of the Mitsibishi Eclipse from back in the day. The car looks... SMALL. That is a very good thing! The rear end looks smooth and exotic. Looks like something...
To a degree. they also get torn up pretty easily (cloth top). Fleet sales are nice for automakers regardless of model. My last trip to Hawaii, I did not see many convertibles. Perhaps for air conditioning reasons. It's pretty dang humid there!
Interestingly, the most popular rentals in Hawaii...
LOL. I know. Standard response for question like "are you. sure?" or "did you really mean this other thing?" Just a little this for that, my friend.
The hardtop is more expensive and complex to produce. and fix. The cloth is massively cheaper and thus more attractive to the bean counters. This...
You have to admit, that is a hot Audi. If the Mustang looked exactly like that front end, I would not be mad at all, so if it just resembles it a bit, I'd be happy.
