i believe these are digital changes. Easy to accomplish for Ford, costing hardly anything and not adding complexity to production.
could be wrong, but thatās what it sounded like.
of course they can do whatever they want - hence calling an SUV a pony car.
that doesnāt mean it sits well with fans and customers.
the name dark horse doesnāt bother me. Itās good to give it a name that doesnāt have such lofty expectations to fall short of.
it seems more like a Mach 1...
its not the name (though it shared the same logo). Itās the tier. Itās the absolute pinnacle of the mustang lineup. And each better than the generation before.
Any downgrade from the current gt500 will not be called Cobra or GT500.
disagree. If it were called Boss 302 or Mach 1, no one would have an issue.
500 horsepower and handling to boot? Maybe better as a Mach 1 than a boss, since the gt350 had 526 hp. The boss is more of a legendary car than Mach 1, so much would be expected of a car called āBoss.ā Perhaps Ford...
incorrect. The cobra was the top tier. Highest performance. Once it went FI, Ford bever looked back. The gt500 also was not supercharged originally. But since it took the Cobra slot, it was. No going backward now. The dark horse is a lesser car than cobra or Shelby status.
Boss/Mach 1=dark...
itās not about that.
Since the Terminator, ALL COBRA/SHELBY GT500s have been forced induction cars.
it would be a major backward step to take that away and still call it Cobra.
progress my friend. Not regression. Progress.
definitely better than the absolutely lame rounddog holes in the Mach 1.
But really thatās no excuse for a horrible grille. Sure, itās functional. But so is the GT WHICH DOES IT WAY BETTER AND UTILIZES THE WHOLE FASCIA FOR ITS CARIOUS FUNCTIONS. THE DARK HORSE FASCIA IS MORE NON FUNCTIONAL...
we will agree to disagree. Most āCamaroā comments seem to have a leader with some followers tagging on. And they seem to leave the s550 out of the discussion, just like the gentlemen that posted the Camaro snd s650 while leaving the s559 out.
When you look at the s550 and s650 side by side, they...
The grey plastic under the laughter/surrounding the grille wonāt she well. Doesnāt look that great now.
the flyer on pointy bits sticking up from the lower grille⦠just looks so lazy. The nasty RTR aftermarket grill was gross years ago. So sad to see Ford adopt it on a brand new model.
the...
bruh. Cāmon. Itās THE EXACT SAME platform, roofline, windows, fenders, headlight shape, grille shape, and in the case of GT and eco boost, headlight shape. The haunches at the rear are exactly the same as well, just widened a tiny bit to accommodate more track. The same bulge is there on s550 as...
Interesting. In my view, The GT looks great. Like thatās how this refresh is supposed to look.
dark horse just looks like an aftermarket company oldified the front end
Doesnāt look modern or cool.
Looks exactly like the OLD RTR aftermarket grill without the gross ānostrilā lights.
the dark...
i doubt the Mustang team would ever arrive to designsomething that resembles a failed design.
The rear was wide bodied to give it more track. Will translate to better handling and looks cool. Itās more reminiscent of Ferrari Roma or Aston Martin (which the s550 100% resembles) and looks like a...
i wouldnāt worry about the dash. Itās almost the exact same thing Mercedesā is doing and there is no glare problem.
I have a bmw with a similar dash. Zero glare.
