ok..so one uncertainty for another .. and compromising options you want. Id said no thanks too. And appearance package.. one would assume the nite package? No scheduling out even till august? Ford is about to lose my order. This is f"ing stupid.
Perhaps Mr. Owens could light a fire under FRAP's ass and get the orders built for people that are spending $40-$80k on his product line.
Edit.. let me rephrase.. a fire under Ford's ass . FRAP can only do what they are told or work with what they are given.
It will be interesting to see if the aftermarket will be able to make a viable (for the obvious high cost of two intakes) set up. Ford as of late has been pretty efficient at engineering their systems. Maybe a two K&N high flows and call it a day situation.
Just basing this on the stated early May build date...
And I will state again, these cars have been testing for well over a year. There should be zero reason for these janky ass time lines Ford is shoveling their anxious buyers.
I have been in several newer Ford vehicles with the B&O. A Ranger Lariat and a few different Explorer STs' The Ranger was "decent" . The Explorer with the 14 speaker set up honestly wasn't bad.
Mind you, my current Timberline has been upgraded front to back with Memphis components and SKAR...
Ford will say nope, ref they'd have to reduce the option price. Maybe they will do a black roof credit LOL.. Like the heated rear seat delete credit in Explorers.
