I financed but had enough of a down payment that the loan started at under half the purchase price and I'll have the loan finished within 2 years easy.
I have a stock suspension 2024 GT premium non PP that originally had 19x8.5 wheels with 255/40R19. I put on 20x10 +34 Velgen classic5 V2 on a squared setup with 275/35R20. I will start out by saying they look awesome!!
My only slight point of concern is the rears seem to be out far enough...
I agree here. Back in the day, I had an intercooler on a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP 3.8L. The pump and a fan override switch were setup this way so I could get the fluid nice and cold in the staging lanes.
Having said that, I did drain the battery a time or two by not switching them off.
I have emailed this question to velgen and gorilla to ask, quoting the specific cj pony parts part number. Assuming I'll hear from them early next week.
Mustang6G also had a thread on this with many different opinions.
I see you had an earlier thread on this topic. It appears you are using the splined lug nuts and I am using standard type. Was the quote from Gorilla and Velgen of 125 ft lbs max only for the spline design, or for the smaller diameter design in general?
I have tires mounted on my new Velgen Classic5 V2 wheels and plan to put them on my 2024 GT this spring. I have the Gorilla small diameter lug nuts from cj pony parts (part#WHLLN16). They are 3/4 vs factory 13/16.
I know factory lug nut torque is 150 ft lbs. Do I still torque these small...
As my new wheels are on their way, I am faced with the question of which tires to get. I live in Illinois, so cold weather sets in for the winter months. I am trying to decide between:
- Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4
- Michelin Pilot Sport 4s
This car is my daily driver and I will have...
I had the same issue but with depth. When I had my Hpipe installed the guy I go to is insane at attention to detail. He lined everything up before welding and clamping. Had me look at it on the lift to agree it's square, then welded and clamped.
Side note, I got the roush hpipe, so it can...
Looking for opinions from the community if this indeed normal and I am too concerned, or if this is not normal and should be of concern.
PLEASE NOTE: I will not be naming and shaming. I will not post what wheels these are nor the manufactuer.
I received 4 wheels and upon inspection, I...
It is called the 10R80.
GM and Ford developed the core iron together, with small HW changes and differences in SW tuning between the two. The GM version is called the 10L90.
I went with the H pipe because I also like the old school V8 burble. This forum and others say H pipe gets that sound more than an X pipe as the X pipe is a little more raspy.
However, I have not heard the two back to back in real life, only in you tube comparisons, so I can't give you a...
I have a 2024 GT Premium Non PP but with Active exhaust. My only mod is a roush H pipe. Here are my thoughts:
- Cold start is a noticeably louder for the first 20 seconds, then not much louder.
- More "burble" than stock
- Each active exhaust level is basically moved up 1 level except Quiet...
