I have stock active valve exhaust and the roush h-pipe. My opinion is that normal, sport, and track all moved up 1 level. So afterward normal = sport, sport = track, and track = extra track. Quiet is slightly louder but still quiet. In my neighborhood, I generally start in quiet then switch...
Shot in the dark here, but debris or heavy rust between the back of the rotor and hub causing the wheels to not be lined up flush against the rotor/hub?
Went to do a spring detail to my 2024 GT and found a small tire sidewall bubble on my passenger front. Jacked up the car and spun the wheel to find a subtle, yet noticeable bent wheel in that spot on the inside.
Not sure which pothole over winter did it, but never noticed any leaking air or...
When I checked the with multimeter last night it said 12.2V vs the dash saying 11.5V. Called dealer this morning and they said they getting lots of similar calls lately. They said it's under warranty for 3years/36K but they have to do the whole charge and test which could take most of a day...
I can double check it with a multimeter tonight. Ford warranty language would seem to classify gradual capacity loss as wear and tear and thus not covered.
Anyone have experience with this?
I have a 2024 GT non PP with 17k miles. Last night I got a ford pass message that remote features were being disabled due to low battery charge. I do make short trips so as it suggested I took the long route to work this morning, about 25 minutes.
Both this morning before the drive (after...
I've had a similar noise and have taken Zig's approach. It hasn't gotten worse and I havnt felt the need to engage the dealer since it would be gone by the time I get out of my neighborhood.
Having said that, if someone knows the solution I'd be happy to fix it
The initial fill is probably more with the oil cooler, but the fluid in there wont drain back to the pan, so oil changes probably wont be different fill amounts??
That's my guess.
Shop i took mine to is known around central Illinois because the guy takes legit 10 minutes extra to line up the tips and have you ok the placement before finishing. He also suggested welding my Hpipe on the rear instead of using the supplied clamps on the rear side where you cut, leaving only...
This really is a case of giving the consumer too much information. Other than displaying that algorithm, there is literally nothing else indicating a change in engine behavior. This is probably good advice.
Very true.
Thank you for the info on the AC, I think my theory about the PCM update resetting my car off of the AC on maps all the time is what's going on. I will be curious to see if other people notice this when they update. Its probably a small but note worthy part of the population...
I'm sure with AC on, they bump up the fans to a higher speed for underhood temp concerns for things like wiring harnesses and component temps for electric components. This lowers head temp and more air across the radiator.
They just had an input condition messed up on cars like mine and it...
