Along with a higher MSRP.
But I would venture a guess that most buyers would likely opt for a less expensive vehicle without them ... which is why they aren't standard and why there are so many aftermarket options.
So EVERY person under the age of 21 should be treated as a potential murderer?
I don't understand how you're trying to talk your way out of the stereotyping you did.
I keep it in the trunk, along with various microfiber drying and miscellaneous towels, a few spray bottles of stuff, and a couple of batteries, in one of these. Keeps everything nice and secure, and available no matter where I'm at (e.g., stopping at a wand car wash for a quick spray down).
Yes, had the IGL Kenzo applied to everything metal, plastic, and the vinyl (on the hood). Looks great! Wheels and brake calipers were done with IGL Ecocoat Wheel. Exterior glass was done with Glassparency.
And for everything like this, you're increasing both the cost of the vehicle and adding another component that can go bad and need repair. No thanks and no thanks.
Hood release is mechanical/cable. This would need to be changed to disable it. And how would the car know if the wipers are folded forward? There's no connection - it's two pieces of metal and a spring.
How about people just use thier heads and eyes?
The same reason minorities pay more in car insurance: Higher risk group.
However, both are stereotyping. Being young doesn't mean you're a poor driver. Being a different race doesn't mean you steal cars. This is not rocket science.
Anyone who thinks a potential customer should spend $40K to $80K (or more) without test driving is being nothing short of unreasonable.
And stereotyping people based on how they look - too young - why is that OK? Should we ban others from test driving, too, because of the color of their skin...
When I was shopping for a 2016 Z06, it was sitting in the middle of the showroom floor. They opened the big glass walls/doors and got it out so I could test drive it. That was a $110K+ car.
Guess what? I bought it. Had they not let me test drive it, I would have walked.
You're going to have a much better chance at getting this addressed by taking it up with the dealership GM, not Ford Corporate. The latter won't give it a second thought. The former knows they likely are losing a sale.
You personally attacked me because I rightly pointed out someone making a poor decision and blaming it on an inanimate object was ridiculous, and you're living in my head? LOL. You got that totally backwards, my friend.
P.S. - Reaction score isn't about how much time we spend on the forums...
Is this the first time you've been wrong? I'm gonna go out on a limb and say no.
You don't like my opinion? Move on. Or IGNORE me. I don't give a damn.
P.S. - Compare your 'Reaction Score' here with mine. That will easily show you who provides more useful input on these forums.
