  1. Coyote Oil Viscosity in High Temp Climates ?

So you're not an engineer. Got it. We work with Ford engineers all day, every day, but I don't know more about the product they designed than they do. Yes, the engineers who designed the engine know what works best in the engine they designed when the vehicle is used under conditions...
  2. Coyote Oil Viscosity in High Temp Climates ?

Unless you're a mechanical engineer with experience designing engines, I'll continue to defer to them. Has nothing to do with a backyard mechanic running a different viscosity oil because it's hot outside. Which company did you work for ad an engine designer again? Obvious? Says who? Oil is the...
  3. Horrible Factory Paint 😡 Two step correction and ceramic coating

Black DH here. Paint was really good, but had them do a 1-step correction before ceramic coat anyway. Looks great. Went IGL Kenzo 5 year.
  4. What do I do ?

You can't expect a dealership to foot the bill for something that wasn't brought up to them until MANY MONTHS after they delivered a vehicle. That's just ridiculous.
  5. What do I do ?

How long was it between delivery and you notifying them of the scratch?
  6. Automatic Shift Knobs

Depends upon the item. I've found them to be the lowest price on a majority of parts I've ordered for all my Ford vehicles, even with shipping. For me, I get to eliminate shipping altogether: I drive by there 3x per week ... :)
  7. Automatic Shift Knobs

Got this update from VarsityFordParts.com today: As of 6-05 FORD has part PR3Z-7277-FA on a National Back order with a No Release date. Notes state, "Supplier Issue". There are No FORD Dealerships in the Nation showing to have this.

  9. What do I do ?

    Not MONTHS after taking delivery.
  10. Coyote Oil Viscosity in High Temp Climates ?

No offense, but unless you work for Ford and were part of the team that designed the 5.0, I'll refrain from deferring to you over the owner's manual regarding oil viscosity. For the record, my father retired from Ford. He was an engineer who worked on designing at least one of thier engines...
  11. Coyote Oil Viscosity in High Temp Climates ?

Your car was specifically built and equipped for the North American market. Part of this is for weather and environment reasons.
  12. Coyote Oil Viscosity in High Temp Climates ?

You can move, but unless you desgined and built your car's engine, don't try to pretend you know more about it than they folks who did ... :like:
  13. Coyote Oil Viscosity in High Temp Climates ?

Last time I checked, there were absolutely zero recalls for the S650 related to engines and engine oil. Go ahead and fill your crankcase with whatever you want ... then let us know how it works out when you try to make that warranty claim.
  14. Correct tire pressure PSI for 255/40 R19 and 275/40 R19 tires?

Driver's door placard on all vehicles.
  15. Coyote Oil Viscosity in High Temp Climates ?

Last time I checked, the owner's manual reads the same up here as it does in the south. Y'all still speak English there, even with the accent, right? 😆
  16. Software update (when?)

The OTA process has been discussed on these forums. Search is your friend. Long story short, there us no rhyme or reason to when you might get an update. These aren't like cell phones where you check for an update and it gets applied.
  17. Ford Asks Mustang Owners To Swap Engine Head

Did you receive a letter? This involves 11 vehicles.
  18. First oil change...what a pain in the ass 😆

Me, too. Me, too. Mobil 1 full synthetic and Mobil 1 filter. Shop Vac and a short section of garden hose.
