Car will always have issues.
If you wait until they build and sell a car that has no issues, you'll never buy one. Enjoy the wait.
I have had no issues with my DH.
It will if the grade changes or if you adjust the accelerator.
@FarNorth, does it do the same when in cruise control (i.e., 10-9-10-9 when the grade of the road doesn't change)?
I'm not aware of anything that anyone has put together, as in "FDRS for the Layperson".
Understand that you're literally using the exact same software that the licensed technicians at the Ford and Lincoln dealerships use. When you update the firmware for a module in your car, your ID (that...
Under FordPass/Connected Services/Ford Premium Connectivity, it does state that "Connected Service and features depend on compatible AT&T network availability". I can't imagine them using a different carrier for the TCU and OTA updates vs the optional services you can buy.
OTA can deliver firmware updates to almost ANY of the various modules in your vehicle. There are dozens of them - everything from main ones (e.g., Body Control Module, Transmission Control Module) to the most mundane (driver's seat module, passenger seat module, HVAC module, etc.).
Think of...
I believe it is AT&T. Yes, the TCU (telematics control unit) is the "modem" in your car that connects like a cell phone.
Again, WiFi is pretty much useless for 99% of the OTA updates. It's only used if a firmware update is required to repair/restore the TCU or gateway that gets your OTA...
One way to avoid waiting (assuming that you are behind AND assuming the firmware update(s) you want are critical) is to do the updates yourself manually. I'm not referring to just Sync updates ... I'm talking about ANY firmware updates released for ANY of the dozens of modules in your vehicle...
Even if you are behind (I don't believe you are, but @rugedraw can confirm), taking it to the dealer will result in absolutely nothing being done. They don't apply updates just because, and they don't do them for free. These are not like cell phones where you just push "update" and it checks...
Added the Billetworkz TITANIUM - BRUSHED - FORD MUSTANG AUTO (2015-24) shift knob and auto adapter lockout system. I got the sphere with the black adapter.
EDIT: I originally stated that the knob material was not titanium but was 6061 aluminum. That is incorrect. The knob is made of...
