I just did the short throw shifter, and it makes a world of difference in my opinion
Yes, the + 35 mm offset on the front, +50 offset on the rear, will push them out to almost flush with the wheel wells. Much better look. Send pics once done :)
Agreed, missed badly on the reveal. Stock ride height, basic wheels, horrible wrap, and an RTR grill, no thanks. Lowered, RTR wheels, special Darkhorse/RTR logos, now that would be something to get excited about.
I'd call and feel them out. If they do paint correction, they should also do paint touch-up.
If you decide to dyi'ing again, prep with alcohol and get a small art paint brush. The touch-up paint brush is way to big to make it look nice
Horrible spot! I would call your ceramic guy and see if they would touch it up for you. You supply the paint and I bet they can make it disappear. That's what I did with a nasty scratch from a golf cart key down my left fender. He filled it, wet sanded it, buffed, and reapplied the ceramic...
