My voice command to change to another XM channel works fine, and the screen confirms the change in seconds. You can also hear the song abruptly change to something different.
You have to be sitting in the car to add the vehicle. You have to acknowledge and accept the connection on the center screen in the car. Once you do that, you are all set.
It is a security feature so someone with your VIN can't hijack your car. Remote start and unlock... Remember?
My dealer did the same for me. I got the delivery alert, and called my dealer to let them know it was there. They said "Really? We'll go check." 30 minutes later they confirmed. The car was delivered at 6am.
Is this car going to be a show car? If so, then I would continue.
If it is going to be a driver, or even a weekend car, and you can't see the problem, then why bother, IMHO. I notice that the only issue mentioned is paint overspray in places you have to intentionally look for to see. No mention...
I beleive that restriction is for the Ford ESP extended service plan. It is considered insurance, and Florida has some tough insurance laws.
There is no reason you can't go to the Granger dealership and purchase a car from them and drive it back to Florida.
Those messages are typical of a bad battery (low voltage). It is more like one gateway module and LOTS of batteries. Replacing the battery is the usual fix, unless the problem was that it simply has not been driven enough to keep it charged.
Once the car arrives at El Mirage, there is not much you can do to track. However, up to that point, get your dealer to show you Vinview. It's a dealer only tool that can tell you pretty much where it is at and ETA for delivery.
On my 2019 GT, the active exhaust was the ONLY thing I had trouble with.
You could also set a time schedule for quiet starts. I had mine set from 10pm to 7am. During this time, it would start in quiet mode when you pressed the start button... no additional steps are required. Outside of this...
I have them in my new EB Premium, and I like them. I would suspect that they will hold up over time better than leather, but we will see if that is true a few years from now.
Make sure you are looking at the 2024 EB. I believe that is different from the 2023 and prior oil filters. IIRC, the prior engines have an imperial thread, but the new ones are metric.
I ordered the correct FL-2127 filters from my dealer in mid November and received them about 2 weeks later. They had just become available according to them. I find it hard to believe that everyone is out of stock already, but I don't doubt you.
It has metric threads, and I have been told that...
I did!!! I had a GT and replaced it with an Ecoboost. It is a much better balanced car all around for road use, not to mention more economical in most respects. If you are tracking, then that's different, but not all of us do that. I agree that the sound of the GT is better, but I can live...
I have the A10 auto in both my 2021 F150 and my 2024 Ecoboost. In 47k miles, I have used the F150 for all kinds of stuff, including towing a travel trailer. The transmission is fine.
I have 3300 miles so far on my Mustang. I am very happy with the transmission. I don't know about track use, but...
