A couple points for clarification:
1. There are apparently some states, so I've heard (notably California), where you can get your deposit back if the transaction falls through.
2. I wouldn't be so sure *ALL* dealers will require a deposit. I don't believe Ourisman, for example, did so in the...
That is definitely true about black looking good when it shines.
It may also depend too on where you live (climate) as well. If you're going to be daily-ing it in a rainy and/or snowy region, that will mean more frequent washes.
Your Spec as well as @Cherry Orca are pretty similar to mine, minus the Nite Pony, Stripes and Red Seats.
What I can say, I'm a prude. My colors are very Plain Jane, lol.
With exception to the transmission and Nite Pony Package, it seems we're getting the same thing.
I did consider black as well before settling on grey.
If it helps with your decision, black can look dirty much faster than grey. Plus, I don't believe you're getting the metallic with black

*The recalls keep flooding in (they had almost twice as many as the automaker 2nd in line)
*Worker morale is in the toilet if you read...
We'll definitely have to agree to disagree.
Ultimately, Ford is a car company and not a loan company. If it's at the point where your life and death is dependent on less than 10% of the total revenue you bring in from lending subprime car loans because over 90% of the money you're bringing in...
GM did go bankrupt in 2009 after selling off GMAC but as stated, it was with circumstances that were exceptional.
If we're staring down the barrel of another 2008 Auto Industry collapse, then I think you would be onto something about Ford's future. It's too soon to make that call though...
I guess it's my point that wasn't clear.
I read the comment "Ford and the banks will likely regret the terms they are giving on the (mostly) depreciating assets." as if it were implying that Ford as a whole would be hard hit by high interest rates, which seemed alarmist to me. Ford Credit for...
