The fitment and materials are kinda swaying me towards the M240i a bit. Still holding out hope.

Looks like the press cars they took out didn't have the Premium interior either so most things were just hard plastic.

Was hoping for better interior materials. Guess that's not going to happen.....

Engine is underrated from BMW for one thing. Like someone else has already mentioned, the gearing and the all wheel drive system make it very quick off the line. 500 horsepower isn't any good if you can't get it to the pavement.

Yeah, no M240i Convertible available and you'd have to go M8 to get a V8. Then you're talking 150K.

Not only am I taking a serious look at the 2024 Mustang GT Premium Performance Pack Mustang, I am also cross shopping the BMW M240i XDrive. The only colors that interest me as far as the BMW, are Portimao Blue and Thundernight Metallic. Anyone else cross shopping/wishing at the same time...

The probably I have with the Recaro seats is that they LOOK like aftermarket seats. I really don't need them to say RECARO is giant letters. Replace it with GT or Dark Horse, etc..

Lot of great programming on AM stations. Shame that they are just dumping useful tech, old as it may be. I'm sure it will be possible to find a Bluetooth AM device that can connect to the entertainment system...

Oh, we do have that expression here, but don't often hear it about the Corvette (at least the newest iteration). A better comparison would be that the Camaro is a poor man's Corvette. Or a Mustang is a poor man's Ford GT.

The C8 Stingray, at least in person, is a beautiful car. The Z06 and E-Ray even more so. "Most" people I have spoken with are mostly positive on the design. Also, the build quality and interior materials are leaps and bounds over the materials used in the S550 Mustang and I am sure it will be...
