Definitely coming from the outside. Under 100% throttle only. Comes on at about 2500-3000 rpm and lasts about 500 rpm.
does not do it when stationary and revving engine
Hello all, I have a 2024 5.0 with the 6 speed. I have been noticing that under acceleration I hear a high pitch wine starting at 2,500 rpm. It fades away after another few thousand rpm. Seems to be coming from engine area and can only hear when windows are down. Car has right under 1500 miles...
Contemplated PPF on my Gt. Got concerned about the edges of the film collecting dirt. It’s a daily driver so nicks will happen. Don’t want to get too worked up about it, so I didn’t pursue further.
2nd for wetokle. Had them for 120k miles on my last car. Fitment was spot on, hard to tell they were covers. Interior looked mint when I took off after I bought my s650. Would purchase again if needed.
The more you look for issues the more you are going to find. QC with Ford seems to be an on-going problem. Despite the issues I found on my GT, I still enjoy the driving experience and don’t regret the purchase.
Quality control is not job 1 at flat rock. With that said, inspection before purchase is key. It determines what you can or can’t live with.
I would be wary of dealership too. May go into solve one problem only to come out with another.
Have you been able to drive each one? What did you think? Every car has its pros and cons. If your expectations are realistic you won’t regret the choice.
Nice, I had to pay the gas guzzler tax. Would have been nice to avoid the fee, but would rather pay than have auto start/stop. It is hard enough to remember to put the active exhaust into track mode every time I drive lol.
Job 1 has no auto start/stop but has 1k gas guzzler tax. I also noticed that some early job1 non performance pack cars came with fix a flat kits instead of mini spares with associated costs.
I just picked up my 301a race red Gt with 6 speed, active, spare tire and gas guzzler tax at almost 9% off MSRP in NorCal. Needed to inspect before purchase so was unwilling to buy out of state. Deals are out there just gotta pick off the lot and be willing to drive out to pick up. Perry Ford in...
I just picked up my 24 race red 301a GT. Surprised to see it did not come with rear mats. I was told there are no options to buy Oem rear carpet mats in black. Can anyone confirm? I prefer oem interior prices. Dislike to see the material and color mismatch with other mat manufacturers like...
Thanks for posting. I was hoping for a rebate like Dodge is doing. Either way I am likely to purchase soon. Considering market rates, something is better than nothing.
would appreciate if anyone can post up incentives once they are known. Getting info from the site can be hit or miss especially when incentives are changing.
