My 301a 6 speed gt does this as well. The modern 5.0 tends to be a noisy motor. I donāt worry about it and enjoy the car. Crazy to think your car has been at the dealer so long. Good luck.
Again, these are issues present on many mustangs. Quality control is not job 1 at Ford. Paint runs, fender gaps, wavy rear bumpers. I ignore the small issues on my GT and enjoy.
Itās a ford, normal quality control issues. I would rather live with it or fix myself than take into a dealer. It may get fixed or come out with more issues than it went in with.
Job 1 cars were one of the first built with no auto start/stop button and they have the tax. Job 2 cars have the auto start/stop button but no gas guzzler tax.
I bought my 301a GT from Ron Dupratt in Dixon CA. Was very satisfied as a customer. I sought a job 1 car. Great time to buy. Walnut...
I think you got it covered. Try to jump up to the 400a if you going back and forth. Good time to negotiate. I found cargurus.com very helpful when buying. Good luck.
I had two flat tires in 25+ years of driving. The second one happened a few weeks after I got my GT. Specifically wanted one with a spare tire option. Got caught on a busy Highway. Glad I had my spare. Better to have and not need.
I wouldnāt worry too much about it. The car will be fine. I take my 24 into a tunnel wash with a drive on track. I wash it occasionally at home when I have a few hours to spare. Sometimes I need to get sap and other contaminants off quickly and drive through car wash is my go to.
I went through the same situation. Got tired of seeing that warning light popping up after months. Enabling cross traffic alert cleared the warning for me. Sure this will help others. good post.
I enjoy my 24 every time I drive it. Just make sure the car is optioned the way you want. I used cargurus.com to determine market rate and negotiate. Good luck.
Not sure of HP numbers but it sure sounds good for stock. Was real interested in getting the Borla Sport Catback but it is pricey. Miss the days of spending a couple hundred bucks and getting the Flowmasters.
Sounds like fun. Enjoy the process !!!! If you look close enough imperfections will be found. Just be sure you are ok with what you find.
after taking delivery it will start to get normal wear and tear.
the plastic interior is very prone to scratching. The little center console rubber pad as...
Seems like interior pieces scuff easily. Same with the drivers kick panel. Have you tried cleaning solutions? Chemical guys interior cleaner and windex have worked well for me.
I have a 24 6speed 5.0. When I get on it I do hear a whine between 2.5-3k. It used to be consistent, but it is getting harder to replicate for me. I can only hear when my window is down. I have 1.6k miles.
OP is likely to overlook issues he will later regret due to excitement of getting new car. He did write a post and ask for opinions lol.
similar spec cars can be found, they are all over lots, mustangs are not selling
