  4. Years financing a S650

Start by punching in some numbers. auto-loan-calculator So with a monthly payment of $687.00 your monthly take home pay should be no less than $5500 a month (approx 15%). So if you are taking home $66,000 a year then you can possible afford to buy a $45,000 car. Just realize there are many...
  5. Official! All-New 2024 Mustang S650 Dark Horse Delivers 500 HP, GT 486 HP, EcoBoost 315 HP

And the insanity continues. When the 10HP drop was announced for 2022 everyone lost their shit. Now the Dark Horse gains 20HP on the Mach 1 (apple to apples) and it's no big deal. Now when the first tests and write ups come in for the Dark Horse and everyone says how much better it is that a...
  6. Will s650 seats sit lower?

Ford has already told us that there will be more headroom in the S650 for race helmet clearance so i'm not sure about those numbers. They either raised the roof, lowered the seats, or a combination of both.
  7. Is 486hp enough?? Let’s discuss

Not happening ever. The average cost of a new car in the US now is more than a base GT. It is still a value for a soon to be 480HP car. But ask if you would pay $5/$10K more to drop 200/400 lbs what do you think most people would say?
  8. Is 486hp enough?? Let’s discuss

    How about….. DH - 500HP Boss - 600HP GT500 - 700HP
  9. Will s650 seats sit lower?

No one knows yet as Ford hasn’t let a lot of folks behind the wheel. But there is supposed to be more room for a driver with a helmet. So right now it’s a maybe.
  10. Is 486hp enough?? Let’s discuss

The thread title might have read, “Is 486 stock horsepower enough”. My answer for an engine warrantied for five years and sixty thousand miles is yes. For those who want more there are plenty of ways to get there.
  11. Official! All-New 2024 Mustang S650 Dark Horse Delivers 500 HP, GT 486 HP, EcoBoost 315 HP

Maybe but we will need to wait until you get an official announcement. Anything else said now is worthless speculation.
  12. Official! All-New 2024 Mustang S650 Dark Horse Delivers 500 HP, GT 486 HP, EcoBoost 315 HP

Yes, it is. But only if you are a fan of the movie and/or Steve McQueen aka "The Man". That said I remember someone on here buying one who didn't know about the movie and just loved the color.
  13. Official! All-New 2024 Mustang S650 Dark Horse Delivers 500 HP, GT 486 HP, EcoBoost 315 HP

This thread is about the S650 which is why it’s on M7G. Any comparisons to the GT350 should be on M6G. Comparisons to a non existent car are invalid and worthless.
  14. Official! All-New 2024 Mustang S650 Dark Horse Delivers 500 HP, GT 486 HP, EcoBoost 315 HP

I understand you love your car but your comparisons are silly. Comparing any tuned car to a stock one is pointless. A tuned GT350 will still blow your doors off. Also, let's be real, if given a choice most of us on here would take a GT350 long before a Mach 1. Now as far as the DH, you're...
  15. Official! All-New 2024 Mustang S650 Dark Horse Delivers 500 HP, GT 486 HP, EcoBoost 315 HP

Premium is only required to meet the maximum horsepower rating. Same as it’s always been. The standard S650 GT will be fine on regular.
  16. Official! All-New 2024 Mustang S650 Dark Horse Delivers 500 HP, GT 486 HP, EcoBoost 315 HP

Let's wait and see what the net numbers are on a dyno. These will be the only numbers that count. Advertised HP is meaningless.
