Honestly, you’re right. All these threads play on semantics. Kind of what keeps them from being to boring. But we agree on the main thing that really counts. We love our Mustangs! :like: :fistbump:
  2. Ford has no clue who their customers our

No, I didn’t say that. I said, what matters on this forum are Mustangs.
  3. Ford has no clue who their customers our

    Now here’s a legacy!
  4. Ford has no clue who their customers our

Trucks really? I’m pretty sure we are discussing performance ā€œcarsā€ here. But at the end of the day the only V8ā€˜s that matter are the ones Ford puts into Mustangs. And the days of them doing that are dwindling.
  5. How would you rate the Mustang VS Porsche, M5 etc.?

Honestly it was a fun read. It’s always interesting reading different points of view. But is it anything to be taken seriously? Not on this planet.
  6. Ford has no clue who their customers our

I know, but then you should add the V8’s from Ferrari, Aston Martin and other super/hyper car brands. The reality is the V8’s in mainstream cars are dead. I think that’s what Greg was alluding too.

Damn right. That’s exactly what they are paid to do. And if they don’t they should be fired.
  8. Ford has no clue who their customers our

You really need to dig into your numbers a little bit, especially about Audi. All V8’s are in specialty models costing ten of thousands more than a Mustang. You are truly comparing apples and oranges.

So what? Do you really think they weren’t aware of this could happen? Especially after Covid all of internal people were making adjustments just in case. Besides Ford Pro made $9,000,000,000 in profit and Ford Blue made another $5,000,000,000. Yeah, Ford knows their customers.
  10. How do we save the mustang?

Did you see the lol? He was kidding.
  11. Argument for Mustang Pricing

Let’s see…gets a pacemaker and then buys a 480hp rocket. What could possibly go wrong? Kidding, of course. I’ll be 73 in March. Hearts in good shape, as far as I know. But congrats to you for grabbing life by the balls. Enjoy it for many, many years to come.:like:
  12. New ZR1 hit 233mph

Well this only goes to 202 but I’d find a way to manage. šŸ¤£šŸ˜‚
  13. How do we save the mustang?

Ford has already spoken, we just aren’t willing to listen to them. The S650 is what we got. The price is what it is. The rest is just hyperbole.
  14. New ZR1 hit 233mph

    Don’t tell Tom that.
  15. New ZR1 hit 233mph

Of course, no one is questioning the value proposition of the ZR1. It’s an awesome car at a price that will make other supercars wilt. But there are others things in play here other than just the $$$. A ZR1 will make most Aston Martin’s look like Priusā€˜ but I know which one I’d buy.
  16. New ZR1 hit 233mph

Of course you find the most expensive to make your point. But there far more out there at lower prices...
  17. How do we save the mustang?

I think you fall in the second group! šŸ¤šŸ‘ The only people complaining about the price are the poors or people that didn’t buy a 2024
  18. New ZR1 hit 233mph

But that’s never going to happen with the GTD. The GTD, like the GT will appreciate over the years while the ZR1 will most likely depreciate.
  19. How do we save the mustang?

You are definitely in the minority on this forum but I agree with you. The new Mustang not cheap. But what is? Add in the fun factor and it’s still a bargain.
  20. How do we save the mustang?

Understood. But who’s the buyer. Who is Ford building this for? Unfortunately the market for this type of car has passed. No bean counter would ever approve the budget for this type of vehicle. Need proof? Just look at our S650.
