You know I totally forgot about that. I do not remember the last car that didn't have DTE. But you're right. 16 gallon tank, 1/2 empty = 8 gallons. Approx. 24 MPG x 8 gallons = 195 MTE. See I can still do it. I'm so proud of myself! :giggle:
No problem. For recommendations I would suggest checking with our resident detailing expert, @DFB5.0

You do not have the latest version yet. Once you do you’ll see what I’m talking about. Your car shows DTE. They have always shown DTE. Why the need to change on the app? What purpose does it serve? How is it better?
Well for the great majority it would accepted without much fanfare. But for us enthusiasts it would become the longest thread in the history of car forums.
Maybe you haven’t noticed that on this side of the pond a lot of folks don’t like anything anymore. Make that “anything” government related and you get a response like @smurfslayer.
Oh you silly Texans! :cwl:  :cwl:
Miles to empty takes these things into account for that given tank load. Going to a percentage just makes things Moe complicated.
Apple just got it today. You should have it shortly.
It’s not a feature. It was necessary evil to help manufacturers meet EPA corporate gas mileage numbers. Do you really think Ford, or anyone else, really wanted too do this. On the other hand I have a 460HP monster that gets almost 30MPG due to those government regulations. So hard to complain...
Just when you thought these idiots couldn’t screw up this app any worse. Percentage? Who the f-ck thought this was better than miles to empty. Morons!:crazy::explode:
Honestly I doubt anyone would really notice a difference. ASS is not done for us. It’s done to help meet an overall corporate number for fuel economy. Do we really think a manufacturer would add this cost if there wasn’t a mandate todo so?
