S&P 500 returned about 11.55% over that 40 year period. $15,000 annually is $1,250 a month. Continue $1,250 a month from 1985 until today, and you would have contributed only $600,000 for the entire 40 years, but your account value would have grown to $14,252,318
I think $14 million would let...
My only point was that it was a cheap, fast (for the time) car. I remember one of the car magazines in 1988 or so buying a stripped down stick shift version new and then taking things out to lighten the weight and running dragstrip times that were impressive for back then (nothing like now)...
I was wondering what the issue was, since I had not experienced the steering issues being discussed. I own a Dark Horse and have never owed another Mustang. I thought the steering was better than my Audi, which I thought had good steering.
Folks are already complaining about the cost.
I remember when the Fox bodies were being purchased new for just under $10k, and it was one of the fastest things going back then. I wonder what everybody would have said back then if you would have predicted an MSRP north of $70k for the 2025...
Is this the Dark Horse, video from 2 months ago, "Can it run 8s?"
Is there no high rpm horsepower to be gained at that level by using the Kooks 2" headers instead of the 1 7/8" headers?
Nurburgring! Wow! I lived near there for two years but never drove on it.
I recorded 1.17 at Michelin Road Atlanta. It was my first ever track day.
What got me curious is seeing a YouTube video of a guy tracking his Mustang. He had an accelerometer built into whatever system he was using...
Wait, wait. So when I look at the cylinder head and oil temperature and trans and diff temps, your are saying that the engine oil temperature is just the computer's guess about the temperature?
I am not looking at my actual oil temp?
How many of the other temperatures displayed are not being...
The dash displays your lateral acceleration and stays on the highest recorded value until you shut it off (then it starts over).
I am curious what others have seen for left or right hand turns.
Ok, Ok, ok.
1st, I noticed my wife's Explorer ST the fan cooled down.
2nd, while driving my Dark Horse, I adjusted the temperature up, and the fan slowed down. Then I noticed when driving off to do 5:00 a.m. cardio this morning, that my fan speed was lower, because the temperature outside...
It's raining outside, so I am not going out to check. My car, not a convertible, has a sunglasses holder there, or it does not? I usually sit them somewhere on the center console, then floor the gas pedal, then have to search for my sunglasses later somewhere on the floorboard of the back seat.
But that does not have anything to do with the fill level on the dip stick after he has filled it and driven it to get it hot and then rechecked it, right?
