  1. Review: Whipple Supercharged Dark Horse Mustang Tested

And what kind of road course is that? No curbs, no area to runoff, concrete walls everywhere like a delayed and overdue interstate highway construction project.
  2. Review: Whipple Supercharged Dark Horse Mustang Tested

So I went back to watch it again. Mph was 125.6. E.t. was 11.6 Those are way off. In a perfect drag strip run (I know this was on a Trofeo RS tire on some service road, lol) 125.6 mph is a 4000 pound car at 533 wheel horsepower. The e.t. should be 11.4. 533 wheel horsepower means that the...
  3. Review: Whipple Supercharged Dark Horse Mustang Tested

For whatever it is worth, the automatic is far better for a supercharged 800 horsepower drag race time than the manual transmission. I almost wonder if something was wrong with the car or the tune or the supercharger installation.
  4. Helion Turbo, Supercharger (Roush, Whipple, VMP), ProCharger stats, price, vids, etc

Those are mounted up high. Now that the tune is available, I have a feeling we are going to see lot of progress.
  5. Helion Turbo, Supercharger (Roush, Whipple, VMP), ProCharger stats, price, vids, etc

Also, a couple of folks with Gen 3 Coyotes in this thread on the Gen6 forum (predecessor to this forum) saying their turbos hang low, have to be aware of what is in the road, scraped a time or two, and so on . . . https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/hellion-twin-turbo-on-daily-driver.100699/
  6. Ghost cam tune ?

All that time in the 80s and 90s I dreamed about making one of my fast cars more streetable, less rowdy, smoothing out the idle, lol. Anybody remember installing Rhoad's lifters? They would bleed down at idle and make some valve train noise as there was clearance in the valve train, but it...

Qualifier: I have no firsthand experience. Listen to his comment starting at 2:44
  8. Boschma's Speed shop tuned 24 Mustang

Found your posts (there are not very many posts in the Drag Racing section of this forum). I see you have headers already, too, so tuning is going to make more of a difference.
  9. Boschma's Speed shop tuned 24 Mustang

That's a pretty amazing difference all by itself. Thanks for responding. I can't wait to see what tuning does for you.
  10. Changing diff ratios

    OP has an automatic.
  11. Changing diff ratios

https://www.mustang7g.com/forums/threads/how-did-steeda-put-4-09-gears-in-a-s650-that-has-no-access-to-tuning.160889/ Steeda chimed in Yes - sorry, I did get a response from our team. Manual transmission cars may act differently, we do not know yet ... we only did our Automatic. We have...
  12. It’s official. We have full custom tuning access via OBD II !

I am sure as more time passes the ability of the existing hardware to adjust for E85 variances in percentage of alcohol will become more well known. I am curious at what point the expensive fueling system upgrades kick in. Obviously turbo or supercharging is already there if you want to run...
  13. Helion Turbo, Supercharger (Roush, Whipple, VMP), ProCharger stats, price, vids, etc

I have a Dark Horse with the handling package, and it is already too low sometimes for day to day driving (if only the real world was a smooth and flat as race course paving). The thought of dragging or banging turbos . . .
  14. Introductions & Welcome Thread đź‘‹

How many miles are you intending to drag race?
  15. Boschma's Speed shop tuned 24 Mustang

Do you have a thread where you logged your journey to 11.3s anywhere on the site? I would be interested in reading it if you do.
  16. Helion Turbo, Supercharger (Roush, Whipple, VMP), ProCharger stats, price, vids, etc

No turbo kits available that do not hang off the bottom of an already low car and heat up the automatic transmission?
  17. Considering selling my special order GT

LOL, I will. I did not even start experimenting with Track Mode until this weekend.
  18. 2025 GT engine oil temp runs hot

289 degrees for the oil. Well, definitely no problems with excessive condensation in the oil for that car. :)
