I was wondering what the limiter is, and what the top speed might be without it, as well.
It almost sounds like the limiter is different on different models.

The hood vent is not only a functional lift-reduction device but is something that Ford has been able to maximize based on what it's learned from its GT3 and GT4 racing programs. The aerospace background from people...
An oddity I have discovered about the original Trofeo RS tires.
The rear, 315 tires are taller than the front, 305 tires.
Look on TireRack, click on specs, and look at both the tire diameter and the revolutions per mile. The front tire is taller and less revolutions.
An early result, 458 at the wheels.
I think that car made 434 on 93, but that video only mid 440s on E85, so who knows? 10-25 horsepower, less on first attempt, more with later finessing of the tune?
Wow - it does not surpass the Roots blower anywhere until after 6500-6600 rpm
"5k and up you're fine," well, yeah, fine, I suppose, but the graph shows a 100 horsepower loss at 5000 rpm!
Yes, I have seen them, but typically they are small pulley setups with a Whipple. And I was very curious about the 2/10 pickup in e.t. and whether that was completely stock. That is a lot just from switching fuel.
I swear we have more S550 times posted in this thread than S650 times.
LOL, post them up!
So a couple of times on stock cars dipping into the 11s, but with aftermarket tires, it looks like, including a drag radial for one.
The only Stage 1 in the thread, running 10.5 on Nittos.
Did you...
I goofed off today. A car stopped ahead of me to turn left into a parking lot. I stopped. The road was arrow straight ahead and nobody else was coming the other way. There was a wide bridge, flat as a board, with rough concrete, which I thought would provide traction. I have Trofeo RS...
Did you personally do this naturally aspirated, stock, at the track and discover this to be true or repeating what you have read elsewhere?
If yes, what were your times, mph, before and after? And was it with sticky tires?
Oh, yeah, I get it. 100%. Because that is the shipping weight. But you take some things out of the car to put that in the car.
I do not personally know what the exact weight added to the car is. I just know what has been posted here.
I kept badgering several persons about it, and several posted saying no fit issues or rubbing or any kind of problems with the PS4s on the factory wheels. I am going to do the same thing, just out of respect for things like, well, rain on the interstate.
I found another post in which the guy estimated the difference at 100 pounds all said and done, but I could not link it because the site is acting wonky. I barely got back into the thread.
Anyway, 100 pounds is still significant, obviously, but it is only 62.5% of 160, and that is a...
I cannot comment on your insults and such, but the shipping weight is not the same as what is installed, and items are removed to install the Whipple supercharger that are not removed to install the Vortech supercharger, so the weight ends up being something less than 160 pounds (although...
