Can you explain what you mean? I did an entire track day in Sport Mode, which does not turn off electronic stability control or traction control (at least I do not think it turns them off, like Track Mode does to some extent), and I did not go off track or in a ditch, nor did the car seem...
My thoughts, exactly.
My young daughter hates the Track Mode and asks me to put it on quiet when she is riding with me.
I like Track Mode, but it is loud and can be obnoxious while cruising on the highway.
It is so good that it is almost unbelievable and would not have been something we could have imagined back in the 80s and 90s, especially with a smooth idle.
Ghost cams, lol
I don't think any of us thought you hated American cars, since you have one and are shipping it around the world.
I drove a 1980 Camaro with T-Tops and a 4 speed when I was in Germany in the 80s. I has swapped a larger small block into it with a better intake and exhaust and a large cam. It...
Holland, correct?
Does it really have snow on the ground much?
I lived in Germany a couple of years and do not really remember much driving in snow. It snowed, but not that much, and it was usually cleared from the roads pretty quickly.
Rain and fog, now that was another story.
Here it is: 581 horsepower, Motor Trend, not Car and Driver.

(Should have used Google before writing my post)
494 to the wheels
I don't know if it is consistent or not. Car and Driver put a 2019 BMW M5 Competition on the dyno and came up with 617 at the wheels, which is the rated output of the engine, so, obviously, the engine was making quite a bit more.
But consistently? I don't know. The internet and urban legend...
Here is how to get around that problem of the lack of clearance at the brake rotor. To clean the inside of the wheels, place the car on jack stands, so that the rear wheels are not touching the ground. I lie under the car, and put my soapy, soaked sponge on the inside of the rim in an area...
It appears that there are both German and European standards on that side of the Atlantic.
https://autoexpert.com.au/posts/the-truth-about-carmaker-engine-power-claims
A manufacturer making false horsepower claims in the United States would be subject to truth in advertising laws. Moreover, there are standards here with respect to how manufacturers measure the horsepower, and third party observations as well.
I imagine the European Union has similar things...
I may not be the right person to ask. I have had no cooling issues, but others posting with more experience say that cooling issues typically arise as they gain a lot of experience (because they are pushing the cars harder) <--- That is not about the Dark Horse, but just a statement in general.
