  1. Low Volume When Listening to Podcasts - Help!

I will need to test more, but it appears that the problem was that I had the center of the balance too far back. Setting it closer to the front (like right behind the front headrests on the screen) may have solved the problem. If this turns out to be it, then Starship Enterprise may have...
  2. Active Exhaust - Meh?

It looks like the valve opens a little more for each setting. Closed for Quiet mode, all the way open and straight through exhaust for Track Mode. Presumable Normal and Sport are partially open.
  3. Active Exhaust - Meh?

I do not know how it works, so I cannot comment upon the premise of your question, but it is definitely louder.
  4. Sunglasses holder

Which I no longer use after discovering that on a Georgia summer day the sunglasses will approach very close to 3,500 degrees Fahrenheit when stored up there. Yipes! I took to taking them down and immediately sticking them backwards, earpiece first, into the air conditioning vents where they...

  6. Active Exhaust - Meh?

Anything starting with a 2 is not enough. Especially not with how heavy cars are today. An AC Cobra weighs nothing, nor did the Spitfire mentioned above. I drove a turbocharged Audi with all wheel drive prior to the Mustang. It had 2 something horsepower. Although I admit the car was fun to...
  7. Low Volume When Listening to Podcasts - Help!

Thanks, but I have tried turning it up both on the side of the phone and in the iTunes App on the face of the podcast (which both do the same thing, I have verified independently of each other). I have that all the way up. :frown: Are the Explorer and Mustang B&O systems so different?
  8. Whipple questions: warranty claims, stage 1/2

Thanks, guys. I live in an area with annual emissions testing, and the tester is additionally required to look under the car with a mirror and visually verify the existence of catalytic converters. Any check engine light is an automatic fail on the test, meaning you cannot register your car.
  9. Low Volume When Listening to Podcasts - Help!

Mine is slightly toward the back, and that is one thing I forgot to confirm on the Explorer, but I think I set hers up the same way slightly toward the back as well.
  10. Active Exhaust - Meh?

Well, you will be six something 7 to the wheels after the Whipple. That ought to keep her happy. I did not realize you had not purchased it yet. I still suggest you try out the Drag Mode isolated country road scenario once you get the car.
  11. Whipple questions: warranty claims, stage 1/2

Catless. So do the two of you live where there is no emissions testing? Wouldn't this cause a check engine light warning on the dashboard? If so, did you just drive around with a check engine light on?
  12. Low Volume When Listening to Podcasts - Help!

I listen to podcasts a lot on my iPhone. It works in other cars. It "works" in my Dark Horse, but not very well. I have the Bang & Olufson system. When I listen to the podcast, it is difficult to hear the persons speaking. At times, I have to turn the volume up all the way to the maximum...
  13. Active Exhaust - Meh?

Ok, Google sent me to this 3 page long thread: https://www.mustang7g.com/forums/threads/the-star-button.161355/ Now at least I know what it is and where it is. :)
  14. Active Exhaust - Meh?

What is it? Where is it?
  15. Traction Control

These comments about electronic stability control and antilock brakes making the situation worse are very unconvincing. They seem to be a jumble of "I read something on the internet" combined with "I am such a good driver" humble brags. I am a very experienced driver (this means I am old...
  16. Active Exhaust - Meh?

Just FYI, the car must be warmed up a little. This will not work if you just started the car and it is on fast idle, warm up.
  17. Active Exhaust - Meh?

    What is the "star button?"
  18. Active Exhaust - Meh?

Find a deserted, straight road. Stop. Put the car in Drag Mode. Roll into the throttle, so you do not immediately begin a burnout, trying to keep traction as you commence moving, but as swiftly as you reasonably can putting the pedal down to the floor. Stay in it. Then ask her if it is...
  19. Traction Control

The ice age was because of not enough Ford Mustangs. It's true. Scientists have not discovered any Ford Mustangs existing in that time frame.
  20. Adding start up sound effect box

So what do you do with it? It makes sounds, like what kind of sounds? Is this for playing music, like an iPod?
