Well theoretically a hotter detonation means a cleaner burn. But in today's computer controlled engines, I doubt there would be any noticeable difference in mileage.
Ok, the more I look at it, the less I hate it. It's still not my thing, but the color and trim weirdly work together. The seats are actually kinda cool. Looks like it comes with Recaros too. At least it's something different.
The title of this thread is about transmissions overheating, but you posted an essay in catalytic converters...I'm confused 🤔
Are you actually having a problem, or just questioning Ford's engineering?
Im usually the guy that says life is short, drive what you like. But in this case it sounds like the OP has his mustang glasses on. If you want a supercharged Mustang as a DD, there are s550 versions out there that would cost you half the price. The other thing that's throwing me is why you...
I think there were 2 versions on the S550. The 2015-2017s were larger and supposedly more restrictive IIRC. Not sure which one is in that picture.
I'm 99% sure the S650 resonator is the same one from the 2018-2023 cars.
No. I mean the pre-PZ4's sucked. What ever version was out in the early to mid 2010s. I like the current PZ4s. I haven't seen PZ5s anywhere and can't speak to them.
Keep in mind I'm a Michelin and Conti guy.
It's misleading without seeing the inside of the case. Someone cut one open and posted here, but I can't seem to find it. The pipes inside the case have vents in a staggered position that create a crossover effect.
