@LethalPerformance posted in the 6g forum that a 4" would fit.

See post #9.
Maybe that is why the chart in the manual starts at 4" instead of 4.25 or 4.5.
That only gets the boost down one psi to 10 psi...
@RTR Vehicles -
How did they "detune" the vehicle down to 650 horsepower? (see 25:15 time stamp, where Misha mentions this)
Another forum member posted some pictures of a 3.75" pulley up against the Whipple supercharger and implied strongly that a larger pulley (4", 4.25", or 4.5") probably...
The Whipple Stage 1 pulley is 3.875" - has anybody run a larger pulley, e.g., 4", 4.25", or 4.5"
Whipple's install manual has a chart showing that going from 3.875" to 4" drops the boost from 11 psi to 10 psi.
I am guessing maybe we could get it down to 8 with the 4.25 and maybe 6 with the...
Thank you-
What size are the cup 2 tires, and are they the same front and rear (square set up)?
What camber settings, and do they ever show any signs of rubbing?
So it looks like Whipple makes the pulleys in all sorts of different sizes. Stage 1 kit is 3.875" and folks looking to crank up the boost have been using 3.5", but they make 4" and even larger.
Like this one:
4.5"...
What modifications? More than just a tune and C85? Did you change the tune to get 537 hp or did you change just the fuel?
FYI, it is recommended not to run the dyno in 7th gear, as the Ford transmission is lacking some strength in that gear...
I guess I missed that while skipping ahead . . .
Thanks for letting me know. I am rewatching and trying to find that on the video. He keeps talking about "800 horsepower."
So is that the solution? Put on a larger pulley for track days? You can push 650 hp (150 more than my car has now...
I wish I understood more of what I was looking at. There is a nut above and slightly to the right of the differential that is mounted in a slot that moves up and down at the gear changes. It is still doing mostly the same thing in the after video, even through the huge piece of metal to which...
