This makes me want to buy and install these just so that when I get good enough to run into this issue, or the rubber gets old enough, or some combination of the two, I do not run into this frustrating problem.
OK, so I re-read this entire thread. You used 325 Goodyear on the rear, which is a 12.3" tread width, 1.3" wider than the wheel.
I was concerned about that, but I am glad to hear that they work well and seem to wear well in spite of the 100 tread wear rating.
The Cup 2 comes in two different...
Why a smaller sway bar with more weight in the rear of the car? Weight causes oversteer and a larger sway bar would exacerbate the issue?
I notice the convertible with the performance package has a smaller sway bar in the front, too. The convertible performance package uses the regular GT...
I certainly have not decided. If it can't be cooled, I doubt I will do it (although maybe I would just to drag race it instead, or maybe buy a base model GT and Whipple it with big fat rear tires and front skinnies . . .)
The Dark Horse was loads of fun at the track, and right now I would not...
Most of the wheel vendors here have ready to go packages with 19 or 20 wheels, 10 in front and 11 in back, that fit your car with no rubbing.
Go 20 to get taller wheels and a little more ground clearance.
Several states are doing this.
"The 2024 Mustang GT starts at $42,860, and from looking at the photos, we’re guessing the North Carolina cars have the GT Performance Package ($5295), which includes Brembo brakes, heavy-duty front springs, a Torsen differential, a strut-tower brace, a bigger...
I have my doubts about how well you can keep up with a 992 GT3RS on the straight.
The GT3RS is a full second less in the quarter mile and approximately 10 mph faster, as compared to a Dark Horse.
If headers and a Palm Beach Dyno tune on 93 octane pump gasoline could pick up that kind of...
Please forgive my ignorant question, but I have never been to Russia, and may not ever be able to go there given the political situation between our two countries (I am in USA). When I lived in Germany in the military, the closest I have ever been, I could not even travel to Berlin because of...
Is this a realistic probability within the near future?
Do you have some real dyno numbers for comparison for the difference on the same fuel (E85, E70, whatever) of adding that two or three degrees of spark advance?
On a Dark Horse? Why?
Also, do you have the 390mm rotors up front? You may have trouble finding 18" wheels that fit over the calipers, and for the drop barrel wheels that do fit, clearance is tight and may lead to damage to the wheel if anything gets caught in there (rubber from the track, a...
Any answer to this?
Also, cold air intake, long tube headers, E85, and a tune picks up more than 70 horsepower and and almost 40 lb ft of torque at the peaks at the wheels.
