Yes, it would be more noticeable there, but I was wondering whether it would be a better fuel for HPDE days, especially in the summer. A typical day is 25-30 minute sessions 5 times for the day. Mustang drivers often complain about overheating problems once they become better drivers. I am...
25 horsepower going from E30 (434) to E85 (458). Note that running E30 on the stock tune already picks up power. This car does not have headers. They also did not raise the rpm limit.
Can you feel the difference that installing headers made? It will be about that much again. Are you willing to run E85? Then a tune will pick up quite a bit more.
Did you get rid of the 2.25" restriction in the exhaust? The stock exhaust reduces to 2.25" right before the resonator (you can...
By any chance, have you had a chance to watch this guy's testing of summer and winter tires on cold pavement at 24 and 26 degrees Fahrenheit (-3.3 and -4.4, for you Canadians)? Unfortunately, he did not test all seasons, but the results of what he did test were ironic...
That's not the point of the video, but, well, continue to ignore it and miss the point of this thread. 🤔 The information is all there for you if you ever change your mind.
LOL, I did not even know there was an S 5, so the PS 5 had that comment in the comments section at Tire Rack. Now I see a Pilot Sport S5, but at least on Tire Rack there are no 19 inch tires.
Now we know who to go to for the deeper technical "why" questions. Thanks for disclosing your expertise in this area. You never know who is participating in a discussion forum.
I had looked at those, but the 305 size is almost half an inch shorter than my stock tire, and they do not have a 315 size. I might have been able to get away with the 325, but it is a lot wider than the stock tire, and the stock wheel size is the minimum recommended for that width.
The PS4S...

2M Fabrication makes 3 inch pipes from the header to the resonator . . .
With a turbo, however, you can dial in the boost. There are several ways to accomplish this, but the short story is you can keep lowering the boost until you get only 750 horsepower. You can raise it up when you want more.
Either one will get you the horsepower you want. You may even be able to do the supercharger yourself. The turbo would require a lot more mechanical skill.
For a 750 horsepower target, you can even get something like a warranty from Whipple (does Roush have a similar warranty?). You are...
Ain't none of us were there, not even the original poster, so no use breaking down the details.
I was in my gym parking lot the other morning, though. I had worn Pirelli Trofeo RS tires. It was in the 40s. There was very light rain that had coated the surface of the parking lot.
It is one...
